Super bright and fit right into Ford rear bumper. Love them

These are so cool! Super easy to install. They fit perfectly into my existing lights. They are really bright and the red lights on the back look cool. I know that it is only the license plate light, but it really does make a big difference. I also did not notice anything with my back up camera as others have stated... they said that it is to bright. My camera is not effected at all by the LED's.

Love the brightness. They look good and function well. Only problem is the quality of one of the two I received. I installed it and the black cover separated from the body, possibly due to pushing it into place. So, I tried to remove it in order to glue the black piece to the housing and the housing began to break. Still works though and I plan to keep it while I can. Stupid bright. I might have to find a way to tone it down in order to reverse at night using the camera.

A blown original light needed replacing so I bought these: cheaper.... brighter... and LED. They are super bright and look great. I run with my headlights on all the time so I like the red strips facing rearward even during the day. The negative is the instructions: thank goodness for Youtube. It's easy to get the unit out of the bumper with just a slotted screwdriver but then what? Answer: you pull out the bulb. You don't twist it or do anything else. But it's glass so it'll shatter so get a good grip and just pull. Mine still shattered but I finally got it out, plugged in the new LED unit, it fit perfectly in the housing and I was done. Maybe thirty minutes tops. Not sure of longevity so we shall see what we shall see.

2 YEAR REVIEW- I still have these on my truck! I live in Washington state so these things are getting plenty wet and I've had zero issues with them. I've taken them out multiple times for a bumper replacement and the tabs haven't broken off like the factory housings do. They're solid. I highly recommend them. Original review: I think these are great. I bought a pair for my f350 and my Excursion. The red light facing away from the vehicle is bright and visible during the day. I like that since I have my running lights on anytime I'm in my truck. The white license plate lights are bright, but not too bright like others have stated in other reviews. All in all, the best license plate lights I've installed, and I've installed more than a few. As for longevity, well have to see.
