Brilliant. So easy to use. I wanted to see my photos on my laptop but it only has a USB drive. Simply put the SD card from the camera into the stick and put the stick into the laptop and it came up straight away. Very easy to use. Would recommend.

I ordered this in hope that it would go into my tv for my camcorder. It’s great for my laptop but that already has an SD card slot.

Very useful and reliable. Good to keep one around. Can't comment on read and write speeds though, as I just use it casually.

In the process of reviving an old Raspberry Pi and needed a Micro-SD Card reader/writer. My older one was a USB 1 device I think I picked up from a technology fair, so wasn't built to last beyond one or two uses - it also had a really flimsy 3cm cable that it attached to so hung out the USB port which would cause it to randomly disconnect as it tried to defy gravity. I also have a load of SD Cards I use for things like the Switch, PSP etc etc that need frequent backup and formatting with can be a pain. Saw this device on sale for just over £5 so thought I'd grab it as its USB 3.0. Can say with conviction it's a great little piece of kit. Pop in the memory/sd card in the appropriate slot, plug into USB socket and Win10 recognised immediately. Have formatted / written / backed up about a dozen SD/Micro SD cards, written several Linux Distros (Retropie, RISC OS, RASPIAN etc) to some SD's and overall the speed has been fine. Only problem I've had is with a Kali distro but I believe thats more to do with the Micro SD card I'm using rather than this device as no other errors using Raspberry Pi Flashing Tool.

questa è la terza che compro, la seconda l'ho presa per un amico e quest'ultima a causa di uno dei pregi dell'oggetto: le sue dimensioni veramente ridotte, che lo rendono comodissimo da portarsi dietro. Infatti è così piccola che alla fine me la sono persa. Battute a parte, funziona molto bene, è veloce a trasmettere i dati, legge schede SD in formato standard e micro, funziona tranquillamente su computer Windows e Linux, senza installare alcun driver, e costa veramente poco. Consiglio vivamente di usare un lettore del genere piuttosto che collegare la macchina fotografica al computer, perché se a forza di fare attacca e stacca si rovina la presa usb dell'apparecchio, bisogna mandare la macchina fotografica in assistenza, mentre così, al massimo, si sostituisce il lettore di schede.
