This is a pretty and eye catching light. We get lots of compliments on it. It’s a good size for over our kitchen island. It isn’t really meant to be the main source of light there, but is bright enough to catch your eye. I like that it remembers the color and brightness settings when you turn it off and back on at a switch, I don’t have to use the remote unless I want to change those things. We had it installed by an electrician as part of a remodel so I don’t know about the ease of the installation. The base where it attaches to the ceiling seems really large to me, but it blends in with the white ceiling so it’s not that big of a deal. Overall it’s a fun and unique look, and it works really well. We are happy with it.

Here are some things I wish I had known about this light from reviews before I ordered it. And I’m also trying to correct some misinformation in some of the reviews. The box from which the light hangs is round, not rectangular. White for the white light, black for the black light. Also three of the cords hold the weight of the light. The fourth cord is actually the electrical cord and needs to be slightly loose. Light emanates from the sides of this lamp, so light is always in your eyes if the light is not hung above head level. And it can be quite blinding and distracting. I love the range of warm to cool and the variability of the brightness. We also had to replace our wall switch. The light can turn on and off at the wall switch, but it cannot be dimmed from a wall switch. The dimming can only take place on the remote control. The remote control can handle up to four of these light fixtures per control, which would be a benefit if you had more than one! My husband hates this light, and I still like it, but I can see that we will be replacing it as soon as we find another good option, and that is because of how blinding it is when hung at the proper level.

The light is buteyfull,But having to hang it is somthing else, the box that connects to the ceiling electric box doesn't have any way to connect and the light box is lonerger,and most light boxes are round.So i made a box out of wood and put there box inside the box that i made. And now as you can see it looks very nice. The manufacture of the light should have sold the light with a better way to hang the light, and a nicer box to drop from the cerling. but i love the light.

Light flickers, cannot be used on a dimmer switch

Love this light. Sleek, elegant, clean, bright and dimmable. This is the only led modern light we saw that went from soft white to bright white.

It's smaller than I imagined. Yes, they give measurements, and I estimated about how much space it would take up, but the very believable image with it covering the full distance of a 6-top dinner table ... at an angle even... is deceiving. Also note, the settings do not save once you turn the lamp off, so you have to use the slow-to-respond remote to turn off instead of a wall switch if you don't want it going to full brightness and mid-color setting every time.

Modern looking as described. Very attractive especially when on during the night.

Fixture arrived quicker than expected. Looks good and easy to install. Very happy with the product at this price point. Size was perfect for our application. Let’s just hope it holds up and last!
