Maya Angelou: Poems

First of all, I’m biased because I love all of Maya Angelou’s work. However, in regards to the product, it’s a perfect size to take along anywhere with you. It fits in my purse and doesn’t take much room and I’m able to delve into something that brings me a lot of joy especially during this time of uncertainty. Also, the seller sent it off really fast because I received it faster than it was originally supposed to arrive! So, I would say that this is truly a good buy.

Read this book as a teen love Maya Angelou and decided to purchase for my 14yr old daughter

One of the best Poets to ever do it. So much truth about life.

This was a gift for my sister but I also have a copy. She said reading it was like getting to meet Maya Angelou which she’d always wanted to do but never got the chance.I also really love this book. Her words are so striking and powerful. It’s a must read for everyone in my opinion.

Good quality paperback. A bit smaller than I expected, but the author's magic gifts with imagery make up for it.

My favourite poet this book has all the gems she has written in you can feel her power and strength as a woman floating through every word ..very inspiring love it hope fully I will get to read some of them to my granddaughter's in the future pass on the womanly inspiration... phenomenal woman and still I rise are my two favourites

Arrived quickly. Quality is great, cover is not worn and there are no markings to be seen.The poems in general are wonderful and everyone should be encouraged to read some Maya Angelou, she's a fantastic woman!

What's not to like? Angelou was such a special person which shows in her poetry. Great little book.
