Great fit, like the fact Dorman has a replaceable filter kit so you don't have to replace the entire pan on the next trans. fluid change.

Dorman makes oem for BMW. Don’t pay more for name brand.
With the research, you will come to find out Dorman makes a lot of the OEM equipment for BMW’s. You can go out and get name brands but then again you’ll be paying 30 to 50% more.

i just recently acquired a ram ecodiesel truck and was shocked at the oem price for the trans pan with its integral filter,so after looking around i found this one, there are lots of good vids online showing its install, good fit,had my trans serviced,this pan installed,all good, ill buy it again ,im frankly disgusted at the mfrs price of their unit,id say that after changing this trans pan out the trans shifts even better than before.use a synthetic fluid too.

First pan I got was a factory replacement, maybe someone returned it and they didnt check or they were trying to screw me over idk, replacement pan worked good and came with bolts, drain plug does not strip out like factory one. Good product worth the money. trans was shuttering and shifting like garbage before but now works fine.
