Hot Wings Planes Piper Cherokee with Connectible Runway in Aviation Museums Nationwide

My Dad was a pilot and a Piper Cherokee was one of the first of many planes he owned; my earliest memories are of going flying with him in this plane. I bought it for myself to display with the flight memorabilia he left to me. It’s a sturdy little die-cast toy and looks good on a display shelf with other bric-a-brac. I’m going to order another one to place on his headstone. He’s buried in a Jewish cemetery so there’s rules against leaving “stuff” like that at the gravesites, but the price is such (less than $10) that it’s no great tragedy if the groundskeepers remove it. It makes me happy to see it displayed in my home.

I am training to become a certified flight instructor. I fly Cherokees, and this plane is extremely helpful for teaching students. My instructor used the same plane during my private pilot training.

Good detailed and accurate quality metal plane but props came off in first semester of using to demo for students. Not for littles to use. My high school kids enjoyed it in our classroom museum but sadly it is glued together now.
