Best Small Scope for the Money
I do like the feel and the design. The image is surprisingly clear (considering cost) and seems to be of quality build. First I bought this scope for myself. I do like the feel and the design. It fits comfortably in my hand, and it is easy to look through and operate. I like how light it is, and that it is compact. The price seems excellent for what you get. This will be used for outdoor activities, mostly hiking and camping. Full size binoculars are pretty heavy when hiking and if you don't have them around your neck they are cumbersome to get out. By the time you do that, you have lost the bird/animal you wanted to scope. I like the neck strap, it gives a convenient way to wear it. The price seems more than fair for what you receive, the only real issue for me is that the scope doesn’t have lens covers on either side. For me, I would rather have the lens covers and shove it in my pocket than have a belt holster. Let's say I'm hiking and I have it around my neck, and I need to take it off. If I am not using the holster I am now risking a scratch on the lens. Maybe include lens covers and make the holster an add on option? Either way I love the scope. It doesn't go very far, but for the compact size and weight these are perfect for what I need. Especially for the price, if it does get damaged it is easy to replace. I have no hesitation to let kids and friends use this. Pretty good Amazon find. Overall I think the company is doing great. Fast shipping, and emails are appreciated. Sometimes the other companies don’t even notice you purchased anything. I will make the effort to buy from them again if they have what I need.

Excellent, small, great price
Just excellent and at such a great price. The focus and images are VERY clear, with excellent magnification. This is a small scope, perfect, solid, excellent. Utterly valuable. The team I put this with uses this as part of a security team protecting celebrity clients and movie studio people at entertainment events in Los Angeles. LaLa land. But the events attract trouble, too. We cannot use names, but a large event was done for a studio that now has a live action movie for what was a hit children's cartoon. The security folks can easily see a city block or more with this. The scope is unobtrusive. Much better than a giant pair of 50mm binoculars that everyone sees. The big scanners give people, the public an uneasy feeling of military operations. But with this small unit, guys can quickly get an idea, is THE person just a fan? Is that a PHONE in his hand? Is he wearing GLOVES? What type? Why? Is that a cane? Is it a happy fan looking for a SELFIE or other? Is the visage that of insanity, intoxication, mental illness, happy fan joy, what are we looking at. You can tell a lot by faces. And in close, hands. Is that a homeless person? Are they okay? The guys can scan a crowd. Check vehicles. Check people within them. Scan the large trucks on the perimeter. Is he slowing for a delivery? Check license numbers. Is that one on the list. Even see the screen on a phone from 200 feet. The clarity it magnificent. These are keeping people safe, with just a quick, magnified glance. And the public is safe and the officers are safe and reassured by just putting up this powerful tiny little scope and checking out what they need.

Nice little scope
It's a nice little scope. I purchased this mainly to take along on hiking/backpacking outings due to its nice small pocket size and its very light weight. I loaned the scope to a friend for a few minutes and she was excited about how well she could see with it. It has good ergonomics, the optics are clear and reasonably sharp everywhere within the viewing area. Things are in focus from about 10-12 feet to infinity. (Note: you need both hands to hold it and turn the focus ring.) Eye relief is short - I have to remove my glasses to use it, and I need to get it really close to my eye to see the full field of view. I've only had it for a few days now but so far its construction has proven to be very durable. I've used it for all kinds of things already: bird watching, critter watching, aircraft watching, parasail watching, astronomy (we were looking at the Moon, and we could also see a few of Jupiter's moons with it), general terrain inspection, target practice, and even girl watching (it's so small I can sometimes do that on the sly!). Needless to say I'm having fun with it, and for sure it has been an advantage to have it. It does have a smaller field of view than scopes with lenses of larger diameter, but that's to be expected. The price of $20 was a good value. It would certainly make a nice gift. Somebody asked about it having Bak-4 glass - as far as I could glean from the website info, it doesn't. It is rated to be waterproof and fog-proof, and sooner or later I plan to see how well it does in that department.

This is a serious bit of kit for the price, the optics are great and is so lightweight and compact. I compared this to another larger monocular which is marginally better in terms of zoom but there's not much between them, versus the size/weight, you can't beat this small monocular, it's also fairly steady, just buy it.
