Good product
Seems to be working and helping to restore my hearing. This device was advised by the ENT department for an ongoing condition. Maybe seek advice before you use it.

It seems to be useful just awkward to get a seal
UPDATE: The balloon burst with bang on the 4th day of use, some are supplied, but refills are a silly price for basic latex balloons. It seems to be useful just awkward to get a seal. Takes some poressue on the nose to get a seal on a mans nose. I waited 7 months to get an ENT appointment to be told to buy this, will let my GP know a simple solution exists. Basically it is a plastic ball with a balloon attached and you blow it up with your nose. Recommended by the ENT consutant at the NHS. They don’t prescribe them.

Amazing product, but pricey
This product worked wonders for me and I would 100% recommend. I caught a flight home whilst I was slightly congested and my ears became fully blocked. I had suffered with blocked ears for a week and visited the Doctor Who prescribed me antibiotics however these did not help and I was becoming very restless and anxious in trying to find a way to rectify this I was upset and frustrated as I couldn’t hear a thing and thought this was something I would have to live with. I bought this product as I had nothing else to lose. I was sure it wouldn’t work. However after the first go my ears popped and I was able to hear again I was so relieved anyone who is suffering from middle ear or fluid past the eardrum I would definitely recommend this product. My ears aren’t 100% but they’ve gone from 15% to now 85%. The package tells you to use this product for three weeks which I will continue to do so and will bring it with me when I go on any future travels. Highly recommend.

You don't need this
I had severe sinus congestion and I bought this device for that purpose so as to clear my nose and sinuses. It did not work at all and I discovered that the standard procedure doctors usually advise on this complaint is to place your thumb and index finger on the end of your nose to close both of your nostrils, then blow in a similar way to blowing your nose with a handkerchief. The free doctors method worked far better than this device.

It works
This is so simple that indeed a child can use it and the surprising thing is that it works allowing the Eustachian Tube gently to unblock.

Otovent clears blocked ear
Brilliant. My ear had been blocked for months; doctor couldn't suggest anything other than nasal rinsing (and learn to live with it). I feared losing my hearing. It's a bit like clearing a blocked sink; the air from the balloon provides enough pressure to disrupt the blockage. The combination of Otovent and nasal rinsing shifts the blockage and clears out all the gunge. Took about 10 days.

Expensive snake oil
All you get is a round piece of plastic to attach to a balloon. You then stick the plastic up your nose and partaially inflate the balloon. You get 10 balloons in the package. They last about a week to 10 days each. After that you can buy more at £8.80 or often even more for 5! It's cheaper to get a complete new kit. I'm going to try ordinary cheap party balloons. If no idea if it works. They say it can take months. That's long enough for the condition to go away naturally. It certainly hasn't cured mine. The process of blowing up balloons did seem to work on my blocked ear. The party balloons at only pence for 50 also worked. Lesson learned find a cheap piece of plastic that will fit and buy some cheap balloons

My husband uses this to help keep his ears clear. He has tube in his ears snd sometimes they clog up. He says blowing into this helps.

Great device. Very effective at opening Eustachian tubes. Overall comfortable to use. Balloons do stretch out, become less effective and eventually pop after numerous uses.
