Great little saw for small jobs at a great price!
Very sharp! Cuts great and the price was very good! I use this saw to cut mostly pine, balsa and bass wood for hobby crafts and it works very well!

doesn't bind like other brands
I bought this to replace a razor saw I bought last year, a different brand, that was very frustrating to use because, no matter what, it always bound up. Eventually the old saw developed kinks along its cutting edge. I used it to cut small pieces of craft wood like craft sticks and basswood up to 1/2" thick. This Zona saw does not bind; perhaps it's sharper or has more precisely ground teeth? I use very little pressure when cutting, take my time, and the cut is on the push stroke. The old saw seemed to cut on both the push and pull strokes and would bind when I changed from pull to push. The quality of the wood handle seems better, too, more carefully finished.

Good Saw, Cuts Fast
A good Saw, very precise in cutting. Sold as a .010" saw, but I'm measuring, the blade measures .0105" and with the offset of the teeth, it cuts a .012" kerf. I am using this to cut bone nuts for my guitars and so far, very happy with the purchase.

Carbon fibre arrow shafts
Carbon fibre arrow shafts are a highly stressed thin walled tube. I was looking for an option for cutting them to optimum length that did not require the typical high speed rotary disc saw. Conventional hack saw blades are a non-starter because they rip the carbon filaments out of the matrix. The Zona saw at 42 tpi is the right tool for the job. I did a test cut on a 5/16" OD shaft free hand to see if the teeth would pluck out the carbon fibres. Not one. My free had test cut took several passes around the circumference and produced a good looking cut surface without a fibre disturbed. I'll use a jig for future cuts. Obviously this is not for commercial volumes - but for personal use it is a viable option to a power disc saw jig for archers who make their own arrows.

Highly recommend
Worked awesome on my model car project. Super easy to control and cut a straight line.

Just what I wanted in a razor saw
This is a very serviceable razor saw. I prefer saws like this one where the blade is firmly attached to the handle rather than those like the X-Acto where the blade can be removed for replacement. With the latter, if the blade binds up, you can pull the saw apart before you get the blade out of the work. (I mean no general slam on X-Acto products. They make some very nice tools.) The blade is thin but substantial enough to remain rigid when cutting fairly hard or thick materials. Since I've mentioned it, a further word on these blades' tendency to bind. If you've never used one before, don't think that that tendency is necessarily a flaw in the tool. Because these saws have very fine teeth, their set is also very slight. That means a bit of binding comes with the territory. Finally, a reminiscence for anyone reading this who remembers Campbell Coe. In the early 1970s, I was working on a banjo neck. I needed fret material and a saw to cut the slots, and my friends told me to visit a luthier (not to mention a terrific guitarist — among other things) in a small shop in Berkeley, Campbell Coe. I'd heard the name. (He was legendary. I remember a bumper strip that said, "Campbell Coe is a myth.") I protested that he wasn't going to have time or patience to talk to some kid off the street trying his hand at making a stringed instrument. But my friends insisted, and I visited his shop. My expectation about Coe were completely wrong. He spent a good bit of an afternoon giving me advice, a length of fret wire — without charge — and the name of a brand of razor saw that'd work perfectly with that wire. As I think everybody who knew him says, he was a complete gentleman. He was a lot of help to me, and that afternoon remains a memory I hold dear fifty years after the fact.

Amazing Guitar Tool
I use this to make guitar nuts and saddles. EXTREMLY sharp and cuts through bone like butter. Great for removing excess material but what it really does well is cut nut slots. Its roughly .010" thick so perfect for a standard E string and to start the other slots. Just go slow--it cuts easily and fast

This saw is ideal for small projects. It cuts easily and because it's such a thin blade it cuts quickly. Very pleased with this saw.
