This children's book is so beautifully written! Mamas, get this book and a box of tissues ready.. perfectly explains how much we love and pray for our kids..and how much our Heavenly Father loves us! Exactly what our kids need to hear! Wish I could give it 10 stars!

Every line in this book is filled with words that I hope and pray for my own children but have never been able to put together so articulately. It hits a truly deep and special part of my heart. One that longs for each of my children to know that they are loved, capable, supported and full of so much worth. From the very first word my tears started to flow and they stayed and they worsened as the pages kept going. Looking over at my children as I choked through each phrase I saw two in tears because their Momma was so moved and one little one who kept asking, "Do you need a kiss?" What a sweet moment in time when they took on the role of comforting ME! Needless to say, this will be a very special book that will be brought out many times for years to come. I'm quite sure I'll cry every time I read it because time is a cruel, cruel thing and I see it flying by so quickly. Each time we read it together it will hold a new meaning to that moment we will be currently navigating. Beautiful job, Matthew Paul Turner. Thank you for following the Lord's leading and allowing Him to pen this beautiful story through you. It speaks volumes to many parents and on behalf of all of us, thank you for putting into words what we just couldn't do.

This is my favorite book to read! Made me tear up a little the first time I read it and now here I am 3 years later still loving it every time I read it to my kids!

Wonderful book

If you are religious and believe in a higher power this book will make you cry. A mother is talking to her little girl about what she prays for and it melts my heart every time I read it. The illustration is beautiful and the colors keep the young kids interested in the book. For Mother’s Day I bought all my sister in laws this book and we all cried together. I do find this book in thrift stores a lot in brand new condition so be aware you might gift this to someone and they might donate it. I recommend buying the board book version as I have never found it in the thrift store maybe because a new mom would more likely read this to her baby/toddler. Let me tell you a personal experience I had while babysitting my two year old nephew “ Let’s read a book Zeke, how about when I pray for you.” “ You pray for me?” This is where I didn’t have the heart to tell him that was the title of the book so I said, “ yes I pray for you.” He then asked, “ can I pray?” In the sweetest little voice. You better believe I said, “Yes of course you can.” He then started to pray and bless the food although he was going to sleep and there was no food to bless. We said Amen and he went to sleep.

This book is a must-own! It is the number one gift to give at baby showers. This book speaks to the expectant mother, the new parent, the in-the-throws-of-it parent, the experienced and seasoned parent, the grandparent, and to every child at every age and stage of development - it would even be a meaningful book for a graduate! This book is beyond beautiful. It will bring tears, beauty, and inspiration. It is Matthew Paul Turner's best children's book so far. The illustrations are perfect. The words are even better -- echoing the hearts and minds of every parent that has ever lived. You will not only buy one copy of this book, you will buy many to share it with the people that you love!

I’ve been reading a book to my kids almost every night since I found out I was pregnant with my first born, oldest is 8 now! I Love these faith centered kids books! Great for night night stories! Kids absorb so much and I cherish our evening ritual of reading my boys a book. Love when I find a book that infuses Jesus into the story!

I bought this for my granddaughters christening as a gift and it is absolutely gorgeous. The words and sentiments are just perfect. I can’t wait till she older and can understand what I’m reading to her.
