I travel occasionally for work, and am always frustrated with the lack of night lights in hotels. With the black out curtains, waking up in the dark is a pain. I have to set my phone alarm in another area of the room so I don’t hit snooze. That means I stub a toe, bang my knee, or walk into a wall because no two hotel rooms are the same. The lights in the room are too bright to leave on to sleep, or are on a motion sensor/timer that turn off automagically. This nightlight is the perfect solution. I don’t have to carry batteries, it has multiple functions, and it’s slim and portable so it fits in my carry-on easily. I plug it in to the sockets near the bathroom counter, set the brightness I want, and go to sleep. The multi function will come in handy when leisure traveling with my husband. No more harsh mobile phone flashlight if I need to look for something while he’s sleeping. I haven’t had to test the charge longevity, but the auto sensor works great. The button doesn’t have a loud annoying click, and it feels well-made.

After trying 2 different night lights from Amazon, I wish I picked the GE 4-in-LED Power Failure Night Light first! The night light has 2 brightness settings, flashlight, auto ON/OFF, and a switch to turn OFF for initial charging the battery. Now it is plugged in so I don't have to touch it, unless we lose power. Now I'm going to order more for seeing at night & emergencies.

Plug it in and let it charge. It will not illuminate - unless there is a power outage. The light will come on. Unplug it and use it to find you favorite flash light. A button on the side allows selection of low luminosity, high luminosity and a separate, spot beam LED. Note: it must be plugged in to charge the battery prior to use. Well made and very handy.

Works good, had a dim and bright mode

Love this night light have it in hall bathroom, gives me light in hall and bathroom. I always know where a flashlight is in the event of an outage.

My electricity goes often so I always keep this charged. It has a foldable plug right on the back of the light. Easily plugs into outlets. Flashlight feature is added bonus. The flashlight setting is bright enough that it has become my go-to flashlight. Great design and construction. Easy to turn on and off. Downside: mine doesn't hold a charge as a flashlight for more than a few minutes. But that's usually all I need - so I just recharge it when the flashlight feature stops working. Surprising downside - instructions say not to leave it charge overnight. It is supposed to be an emergency nightlight - so I assumed that you would just keep it plugged in all of the time. But even with features which are less than ideal - it is so handy, easy to use, and easy to charge - that I bought another one! It has 3 modes: flashlight, nightlight dim, and nightlight bright. Because the charger plus is foldable in the back of the unit - you don't have to fool around with charger cords or charger blocks or worry about misplacing them. Right now - I have a flashlight and spotlight with misplaced charger cords - so they are unusable. With the plug in the back of the unit -you never have to worry about losing the charger cord- - it is super-convenient to charge - which has made it my go- to flashlight! And it's flat and compact - the perfect size for a pocket or purse.

I bought more of them. After a power outage they work great. You can find your way around your home to find your emergency lights without being totally blind in the dark. I have some low power lights in every room, but they're plug ins. I also have power banks I can plug them into. That will work for about four hours for each power bank. And a couple of power banks will work for about a day because they're battery operated and I can change batteries. As long as I have batteries. But if I can't find my way around, I'm not likely to use them but just stay in one spot for fear of tumbling down the stairs. These lights are a life saver. They've never felt even slightly warm. The LED is a bit "cold white" but I can stand that. I put one at the top of the stairs, one at the bottom and one near every door exit. The one I use most is the one in the bathroom because it's just in the best spot avoiding hazards. Been through two power outages with them now. What I do is, I replace the plug with one of those multiple outlets with USB slots, plug a low power LED light into the USB, use one of the regular slots for the emergency light, and I still have more places to plug other things in. I still have to get the battery packs and recharged power banks collected in one place, but that's because I use them for other things too, especially during holidays for decorations. But the little night light emergency lights are a staple part of the plan to keep safe.

Why sell products not fit for use in uk

First of all- each press of the one button on the side cycles through the following functions/modes.. 1.Emergency light only, 2. Emergency light and "dimmer" night light, 3.Emergency light and "brighter" night light,4. Flashlight. I find both the night lite modes to be brighter than I need to keep on all night so I do not use them, otherwise this is a well designed and constructed unit. I would suggest to the manufacturer that they add a motion sensor functionality to one of the night light modes to make this unit even more useful.

Funciona perfecto

Got this on May 22nd, put batteries in right away and installed it in my safe and haven't touched it since. (June 23rd.) Light is nice and bright and quick to respond, as soon as I open my safe it's on. If I walk away it turns off, and then back on as soon as I walk back up. I didn't use the mounting hardware that came with it, just a couple strips of industrial velcro and stuck it to the inside roof of my safe. Highly recommended.
