Great faucet for the price, pressure is commercial grade, but you can adjust 🙂
Of course I’m replacing a broken sink, but I am in a rental and some sinks can get up to 4, 5, 600 bucks for a dumb faucet!!! This sucker does the job, does it well, little too well, had to turn down the water pressure, certainly can be used in a commercial kitchen if need be. Fine replacement that the home owner said looks great, does say amazon basics but you will notice during install and then never notice again, it is soo lightly displayed, it’s really not an issue at all.

AmazonBasics Faucet = Good?
The media could not be loaded. My wife recently ordered me to replace our kitchen faucets because they were starting to break where the faucet head would rotate too much and would be sort of irritating to push it back into the right direction. Yes I made sure it was tightened but I guess someone may have used too much force and it broke the “lock” that would prevent it from rotating too much to either side. As mentioned; I was ordered to replace two – one for the main kitchen and the wet bar. Luckily I replaced a few before so no biggie. The thing that really was concerning is that I just replaced these 6 months ago and they’re already breaking? I usually go for the cheaper brand faucets like Delta or Glacier Bay, so at this point, I check on Amazon to do the usual price check, because I wanted to try to save money especially if these faucets break that fast. I then found the Amazon Basics faucets and I thought I would give these a try since these were within my budget. The install was straight forward. For the tools; you’ll need a few wrenches or pliers to uninstall the old faucet and put in the new one. You turn off the water under the sink, remove the old faucet (this might be a pain depending how old it is), install new faucet. The faucet comes with the usual hot and cold lines that you will have to hand tighten. The instructions state that hand tightening of the lines is enough for the initial connection to the faucet base. It comes with a quick release for the water faucet hose connection and a weight for it.This is where Amazon needs to do some quality control because the quick connector was defective, and the hose wouldn’t snap in. By the time I found out, I had taken out the old faucet already. Luckily, I bought 2 units because I was planning to replace 2 faucets, so I used the part from the other unit. I would definitely recommend testing this part before installing. I would’ve been mad if I had to reinstall the old sink because of this part and wait for Amazon to ship out another unit. The only other thing I can comment on is that the water flow is not “smooth” at first as shown in the video and it sort of shoots randomly to the sides. After 2 days of use, the water flow now normal. It could have been because of a water filter I have connected to the cold water supply line which didn't have enough water pressure at the time.Overall this unit is very affordable and aesthetically more pleasing than the “cheaper” units at Home Depot and other local hardware stores, however Amazon really needs to do some quality control as I can see some unhappy customers if they must wait for parts to ship to them.

Not worth skimping on the price
Although this faucet was at a very low price point the quality was not worth the effort. It looks nice but it leaks, even with many tweaks, the pressure is hard to manage and the sprayer does not go back with manual assistance.I wouldn’t recommend this for these reasons.

High quality for the price.
We just got this installed and it is very nice. The finish and feel is top notch. I have a friend who is a plumber and he was very impressed with the faucet. I will update the review as we use it more, but my initial impression is this is an amazing product for the price.

Spout doesn't line up
The spout doesnt line up evenly. I called as soon as I opened package. Ihad to return in order to get another one, but really needed the faucet. Other than that it works good.

Incredible Value
I have to say I am so surprised at the quality of this faucet. I come from a family of plumbers and have been true to the major bands for my entire life. I took a chance on this because I believe in the Amazon Basics line and I couldn’t be happier.

Poorly designed
Have had this faucet for a few months. It installed quickly and easily but after a couple weeks I noticed the after pressure dropping. After 3 plumbers, replacing valves, and $700 later...finally figured out it’s the weighted connection hose. The weight pulls on the “quick connection” area so the weighted end of the hose is loosely connected. I barely touched the hose and it came unhoused and water went every where. Buyer beware. Looks nice though...
