the bags are very nice. they are strong and easy to tie. Very clean if there is a strong smell in the garbage these will do.

The issues vary but aren't consistent so not precisely sure why they occur. Sometimes as bag fills up, it slips off. We have to cut slits in sides to fit into the compactor knobs that hold it in place, sometimes slips off the knobs. The plastic itself is pretty good. We pack in plenty and compact a good deal, the plastic bag doesn't rip, pop or otherwise leak.Despite these small issues, they don't seem to affect the durability of the bags. For the price point each bag works out to approximately .50 cents a bag, and this can't be beat.Fitting the bag. Not very easy, our compactor is rectangular, sharp edges. Slipping the bag on is always a bit of a chore, getting it over edges but after that, it's smooth sailing. Isn't the worst thing but for some could be a turn off. There may be better quality products out there, but this is pretty good despite the small issues stated and the price point is fair, in my opinion.

These bags are heavy duty and fit well. The box that they came in looked like it had been through a war, all beat up and taped together. Very disappointing! I blame the seller for this.

I recently bought a house with a trash compactor and have been experimenting with different bags and realized that there is a wide range of quality and price. These bags are good quality and more than adequate for my Kenmore compactor. They are quite tall so there is more than adequate length to tie them off when they are full. These bags are quite smooth textured as compared to other bags I've use but it hasn't been an issue. The bags come off a perforated roll as well as opposed to a folded stack for what it's worth. I thought that perhaps they would pull down in the compactor after several compacting cycles but due to the bag length they hold in position well.These bags do not have holes for the buttons on the side to hold them in place. I don't feel the need to have the holes in the side to hold them in place but those who do should know that these bags do not have them. For a quarter a bag the pros and cons of height, holes, thickness, and texture IMO be come non-issues.Tough, tall and inexpensive. That's all I need. Oh and the manufacturer provides customer service! Prompt, friendly, professional customer service. That's nice. I'm a fan. If you are worried, as I was, that you might get stuck with 40 bags that were bigger trash than what you were trying to compact, try reaching out to alufplastics customer service. Mary C. was so helpful and I am grateful for that. They are justifiably proud of their good quality, reasonably priced product.

I used these bags for years and was very happy with them. They were high quality and relatively inexpensive. I bought these bags months ago to keep on hand. Unfortunately the bags were very thin and the sides were already splitting. They were too small to fit the trash compactor without the sides splitting completely. They are utterly unusable.I have tried contacting the company's customer service and have not received any response. Unfortunately it is too late to return them to Amazon.

Good price but not good fit. I much prefer the Costco brand compactor bags.

Great bags. Very tough. I use them to line my backpack on Muti day hikes. White makes the contents easy to find and keeps everything safe from water.

These are very heavy duty plastic and fit perfectly in my Kenmore trash compactor. These are much lower in cost than the paper trash compactor bags.

Do they still make compactors? Well, yes, at astronomical prices. (I bought mine from a Rochester NY Sears Clearance Centre for $100 many moons ago, while there was still a Sears. And I used to be able to buy reasonably priced bags. Not anymore until these guys. Buy from them when you can to help support these affordable bag prices.

Using these for collecting used cat litter, a gross chore at best, made worse by trying to use typical light kitchen bags which are generally < 1 mil. The only thing worse than scooping litter is if the bag breaks on the way to the curb. Extra gross.So these compactor bags @ 2.7mil (measured with a micrometer, BTW, just to be sure. Call me suspicious) are perfect for that chore. They'll shepherd several kilos of wet litter safely all the way to the curb. They're probably a bit big for this job, but the extra length allows tying a nice firm knot to contain the mess and the smell.Perfect, will buy again when these run out.
