Schultz Liquid Plant Food Plus (1011)

Actually purchase for a sometimes treat for my dog, she loves these, would really work great for intended use.

This is a great product which I have used for many years on my houseplants -- African Violets, Christmas Cactus, and other taller blade-leafed plants. It lasts a long time since not much is needed for each use. I have ordered this product from Amazon in the past, but the last time I was told it couldn't be shipped to California. It's worth the effort to have someone in another state order it and ship it to me in California. 😊

This is a must have for anyone with plants. Whether you consider yourself a pro, or novice, this is as fundamental to the longevity & success of your chosen plant, flower, tree, etc. as a pot, or even the soil itself. Following the simple 7 drops per quart guideline couldn't be easier. I highly recommend having at least one bottle on hand for anyone who has, or is, adding some greenery to their lives.

Effective and easy to use. I have used this product before, it is good quality and and last a long time, all you use is 7 drops in a quart of water, and don't forget to mist those plants occasionally in the winter when heating makes the house dry.

I wanted this product due to the fact that I have recently tried to start a new hobby with growing plants indoors. I have them under a grow light and am currently growing onions, tomatoes, strawberries, squash, dwar mullberry tree (morus nigra) and they need food so they can produce food for me too eat. They started to die and I found this online. The shipper lets you choose two different speeds of shipping, there is fast and slow... I chose slow, but i recieved it one day before I was suppose to get it. I found it to have a very useful dropper and easy to understand instructions that are both included on the box and the container itself. Eventhough the liquid in the container is colored green with food coloring, when applied in the container, it does not change much in color. I found out that there is 32 oz in a pint roughly, so I used a big gatorade container and made sure to mark it up so I would know not to drink the liquid in it which looks like just regular water. The label tells you which plants you can use the food (fertalizer) for and the different methods you can do it for, such as watering every time or just watering it 1-2 times a month and if so how much to feed it/ how many drops of liquid to mix per amount of water. Like I said very easy to understand. INDOORS (Plants): All House Plants, African Violets, Orchids, Herbs, Gardenias, Gloxinia, Dieffenbachia, Philodendrons, Bonsai, Pothos, Jade Plants, Ivy, Cacti, Ficus, Hydroponics. FOR OUTDOORS (Plants): All Outdoor Plants, Roses, Tomatoes, Flowers, Bulbs, Bedding Plants, Seeds, Vegetables, Trees, Azaleas, Fruit, Berries, Rhododendrons, Lawns, Shrubs, Evergreens. I hope this list helps, as I do not think the listing has all of this information included. If you do not like this size, I think if you go to the sellers site, this item comes in a 4 oz and an 8 oz. I also ordered the 32 oz size from a different buyer on amazon, but it does not come with the droper that this item has. I will have to wait to see if it works on the other plants, but from what I have read, it does. So that is why I ordered this 4 oz size plus 2- 32 oz sizes as well. Reasonable shipping prices and an easy transaction as well as receiving the item on time and in great condition. No leaky messes to deal with:-)

7 months ago, I decided to test my black thumb and prove that I could keep some plants alive. I bought a bunch of plants, ranging from philodendrons, calatheas, Pothos, ferns, chinese evergreens, succulents, etc. I read somewhere that plants like food, and it seemed reasonable, so I stumbled upon this Schultz all purpose plant food. I started adding two drops per plant watering twice a week. I have been consistent, and also giving my plants distilled water instead of tap water. I must say... My plants are thriving beyond what I expected. I feel like a plant mamma goddess! Everyone who sees my plants comments on how magical they are. I want to say I was wrong and had a green thumb all along, but I really owe it to credit this product for my success. I am a very happy customer and will be buying this as long as it stays available.

Buy this!! There is an immediate and obvious difference after using. New growth, visibly larger leaves
