Would buy again all great condition and they all extend.

So I bought these pens because I love sailor moon. Always have. I thought they would look good on my desk. When I got them I could not get the tops off. I thought I had wasted my money. Today, over a month later I just figured out they twist off. So know it really is a pen and not just a pointer. I wish someone had told me.

These are not ball point pens at all....they just look like pens.....they are extendable pointers....the top pulls out like a radio antenna.....the name of the product should be changed to express what these really are.....

Pros: the pointers are bigger than I expected! They are all super pretty and come with the sparkly display box and a protective plastic covering. Its a great set!Cons: the box was a bit damaged and the paint on some of the pointers was chipped, making it look used. It also looked like the chipped side had purposefully been turned so you couldn't see the chips unless you pull it out. The box had been opened and there was some dust, fuz, and other particles inside the box. The box lid also doesn't stay shut unless its in the plastic. The tops are supposed to twist off to reveal a pen but the only one I was able to open was the cutie moon rod ( the others just twisted without undoing the caps).Overall I'm okay with it since I am using them for display but i'm a bit disappointed at the condition and I wouldn't recommend buying them for the pens! Otherwise they are great.

They are pretty, but they are not pens. I will keep them because they are a nice display item.
