Simple, Elegant, No Polish!
my grandmother first introduced me to nail buffing in the 1960's; it was used in lieu of nail polish, and was actually healthy for your nails. The process of buffing brings blood to the surface, which helps feed the nails and gives them that healthy pink tint. I was delighted to find this product available! The attached pic is after the First Time I used it. Yes, my cuticles need ... attention. Disclaimer: I have been using Onyx Hard as Hoof cream : https://www.amazon.com/Strengthening-Coconut-Strengthener-Conditioning-Strengthens/dp/B005HGWGVS coupled with OPI Nail Envy for several months, trying to strengthen my nails and get them to stop splitting and peeling. But what you see in the pic does not have anything but the buffing cream buffed onto the nails.

Old-Fashioned and Works Great
Looks cheap but works very well. Smoothies nail ridges, adds shine, and rubs away excess cuticles. Excellent and inexpensive alternative to manicure and polish.

Delivery was so fast!
I really like this. It doesn't bring them to the shine I remember from when I was younger..... But anything to keep my nails healthy and shiny without nail polish.

Not what I expected
Was a bit disappointed as the cream did not help to make my nails shine and the buffer I received was very poorly made.

Embracing my 1930’s Diva!
Developed an allergy to UV cured nail polish and find regular polish to be a lot of time and hassle for a manicure that lasts for 5 days at the most. However I miss having pretty nails - wah wah wah 😆 I remember my great grandmother using a nail buffer and have seen them as part of vintage/antique dresser sets, but when I tried just a chamois buffer years ago, I was underwhelmed with the results. Anyway, thought I give it a go with the addition of the buffing cream. It works really well and the shine lasts for days. The cream itself is some sort of (probably emery) grit suspended in obnoxiously rose scented cold cream like base. Not a fan of the smell but do love the result. The buffer is large and hasn’t broken although the plastic handle (nice vintage shape) is on the thin cheap side. The chamois is equally “budget minded” and has a tendency to stretch. We’ll see how long the whole thing lasts. I love the results but will probably search for a less smelly cream and keep an eye out for a lovely vintage buffer that I can put a new chamois on.

Chamois Buffer for Nails
I had this perhaps a year or so, and only used it maybe 8 times. It has ripped and I can't explain it other than it was made with below average material (suede/chamois) . I had a Chamois buffer (years ago) that lasted for many years, so this one was a disappointment. I won't purchase another one. It gets 1 star only because I cannot submit this review unless I complete the star.
