it will come with vipers wiring diagram for the alarm. you will need your vehicles wiring diagram when installing.

Is the 2016 Mazda 3 so advanced that I need the bypass module for the basic car alarm installation? Installer said so.

I Believe any vehicle with a factory alarm system Has to have the bypass to overide the factory settings. I have had three of the viper 5706 V 2 way security systems installed in three different maunufactured vehicles and all needed the bypass, though some other security systems may offer a bypass as part as their complete system. Hope this helps!

Yes, I did exactly that. I have a standard transmission and decided not to do the remote start (because I don't need it and it was going to be more expensive and complicated).
