I have a Nikon D3200, Can we take photos with this telescope??

I own a Nikon D3100 with adapters for this Telescope.It is best to obtain a Barlow Adapter and T-Ring Adapter.The Barlow Adapter will make focusing much easier and give a sharper image.You have to set ISO and Shutter Speed in your manual settings. There are no F-Stop settings with these adapters.I estimate the Celestron Telescope to have an f/8 to and f/6 speed.Good luck with the endeavor.

IN A suburb close to Philadelphia with a lot of light pollution, I've been able to see the Andromeda galaxy (2 million light years) with my naked eye (when directly overhead). I believe the question is how much this magnifies distant objects. Understand with telescopes, magnification is entirely a function of the eyepiece, which can end up costing more than the telescope. The distant eyepiece that comes with this is dim (due to the low cost). The magnifier cylinder works, but reduces the brightness even more. Because of the street lights around my house, I indeed have to use a dark cloth to shroud myself while viewing. With this, you will be able to see the Galilean moons, zones and bands of Jupiter and its big red spot, the rings of Saturn and its moons (800 million miles away). You will be able to separate many binary stars such as Mizar. With all that said, I do not recommend this unit.

Is this a 4" or 6" telescope?
