It looks second hand But I don’t recall wanting a second hand book. After all I guess you can’t judge a book by its cover, but I will. I would give it 5 stars but the cover just lowered it to 4 stars. I would recommend it if you wanted to take the chance the book comes in tattered. This was a very easy and informative read that brought me up to speed on what needs to be done to help give these little birds a healthy and productive life. I now know what fruits and vegetables to feed these birds but in the week I have had them they seem to have no interest in anything but seeds. I will keep working on them because I want to have them for a very long time. I didn't!)Doesn't include much information on specific vocalizations or housetraining.
