Easy to install and very few false alarms
Easy to install. Easy to program on a Vista 20P (if you know how to program the panel - otherwise call a pro). Only two false trips in two years of owning many of these. PS - to test, you can buy a $50 tool, or tap hard on the case (emulates the "thud") while you are jingling keys in front of it (emulates the "glass break"). Works every time in about 2-3 seconds (try it!).

Manufacture needs to increase distance on older units
It’s fine except it does not reach the distance.

They do their job and don't look ugly
I know these work because every now and then I accidentally drop something or band something and it causes the alarm to go off. I wouldn't say they are more sensitive than they should be (that would get annoying), but I am confident that these things which normally go unnoticed do their job as they should. Also, they blend in to my light gray walls well enough, so they are not an eyesore.

Never worked, maybe lemon
I bought this in 2018. It's still on my wall but never has worked. I've broken so many glasses close by. Maybe it was a lemon.

Probably one of the best wireless glass break detectors. Only Inovonics is better.
Pretty solid wireless glass break detector. It's a sleek design. Sensitivity adjustments are easy and has very good battery life. Can be used with 2Gig or Honeywell systems natively. Using a Honeywell FG-701 glass break tester to install and test this detector is highly recommended. This is a "dual-tech" acoustic sensor listening for the "thunk" and "shatter" of glass breaking due to impact. By using this glass break tester, it allows you to determine proper placement and sensitivity settings for your application. I've very rarely had an issue with these glass break detectors and will always choose this over the 2Gig glass break. In fact, the 2Gig glass break always has issues and should never be used.

A great addition to any Honeywell system.
We've had several recent break-ins in the area, and the thieves were smashing the sliding glass doors of our neighbors' homes. Unfortunately, bar locks do nothing when someone can just break glass. Several of these detectors will go a long way in adding another safety measure to your home to ensure would-be burglars will get thwarted by your security system (and hopefully caught). Setup/installation was relatively straightforward. The FG-701 micro-flex tester is basically a mandatory purchase to accompany these detectors. You need to troubleshoot the sensor's sensitivity to distances, echoes, and window coverings in your home to ensure that your alarm system will correctly activate in the event of a break in. Although the flex tester is pricey, it's worth the peace of mind that an intruder won't be able to bypass your system through an Achilles heel.

Great Honeywell product for the professional
Great add on for any Honeywell or ELK alarm system. This item requires programing into the alarm system. If you don't know how to do it leave it to a professional. You could mess up the programing on your system.

La description ne dit pas qu’il faut aussi acheter un panneau de contrôle - j’ai donc dû retourner le détecteur… et le vendeur déduit 20% du remboursement pour les frais de restockage !!
