I purchased this item for only one purpose, that was to grind dried cayenne pepper that I grow, to put in a shaker to sprinkle on my food. I have previously had difficulty grinding the pepper to pieces small enough to come out of the shaker. I purchased the "swing model" of this unit and I am glad that I did. There are cautions in the operating directions about over heating the motor if left running for more than 3 minutes. This was some concern to me in the beginning, but my concern was soon left behind. The cayenne pepper pods do not compact well in the grinder hopper so I filled the hopper all the way to the top. It only took maybe 20 seconds to pulverize most of them to powder the size of flour particles. I then filled the hopper again, not emptying the previous batch and another 20 seconds or so did the job once more. The amount of product in the hopper then ground up really well within just a few seconds of grinding. In order to get good results, the amount of product in the hopper needs to cover the blades. The swing model allowed me to tilt the grinder easily in both directions to aid in the grinding. I then emptied the hopper and allowed the motor to cool while I sifted the product and removed any small pieces not ground up. These pieces were returned to the hopper to grind with the next batch. This process worked really well, allowing the motor to cool and getting flour size particles of cayenne pepper. I grow my own pepper, dehydrate it and then grind it to make sure I am getting fresh home grown pepper to use on my food. This is very important to me since the pepper helps in keeping my blood pressure down. In conclusion, I am very happy with the results this grinder gives me and I only wish I had found it sooner.

This was a good value in my estimation. I like that the company offers many different capacities. For the most part, this grinder is great for reducing anything dry to a fine powder. You must have enough material loaded to get these results, otherwise there won't be enough friction to pulverize everything. My only complaint is that there is no good seal when the machine is operating and clouds of powder spill from a tiny gap between the lid and the rest of the machine.

I am not the ~crunchy~ type but after realizing that most commercially-available turmeric powder has lead chromate added to it, I decided to make my own from fresh turmeric. Two different coffee grinders and two powerful full-sized food processors were not able to handle grinding my dehydrated turmeric pieces, but this thing turned it into a soft, fine powder in about 30 seconds. It also did the same to rice. It’s loud af and needs to be cleaned using a brush like that of an archaeologist uncovering ancient dinosaur bones, but it does what it’s supposed to lol. Make sure to buy the one with the tilting feature so that you can empty the bowl out with ease since the bowl is not detachable.

There was another review about cleaning and how awful it is to clean and I thought it can’t be that bad. And I was right because it’s worse. My unit you could take the top two blades off but the bottom blade just ain’t happening. Seems like it wasn’t designed to come off or maybe just my unit was jammed. Either way this review is what I got not how it should have worked. So yeah can’t clean and not gonna be bothered trying a replacement. Stuff gets caked up pretty bad after one use and that flimsy brush just ain’t good enough so if you can get your blades off and use a better brush I don’t think you’d have any issue with it at all. And if you’re wondering how stuck was that last blade just know that I tried pliers and even tried to pry it off with no success

I understand that this device is not suitable for wet foods and cannot be washed, but the blade removal instructions are a joke. The bottom screws are too short to serve as an anchor for unscrewing the blades. Using full force only risks to damage the threads of the small screws, and I was still not able to unscrew the blades. Not only can I not clean the blades properly, I cannot even replace them with the replacement blades included in the set. Other tools have special switches to hold a motor in place to unscrew something, not sure why this grinder does not have something like that.

Habe das Produkt mit Roggen ausprobiert den die Maschine ohne Probleme in weniger als 20 Sekunden zu Mehl verarbeitet hat. Gut finde ich auch das es fast alles aus Edelstahl ist, Ersatzklingen vorhanden sind, Werkzeug und sogar Ersatzkohlen für den Elektromotor (der mehr als genug Kraft hat). Preis - Leistung ist sehr gut!

Excelente producto, se molieron 9 kilos de diferentes condimentos (canela, pimientas, laurel, chile, orégano, etc.) en un lapso de 8hrs (se usó el equipo de 700grs) en ningún momento se sobrecalentó, se ocupó para una molida muy fina (2 mins por molida, solo en el chile fue de 3 mins), estoy pensando en adquirir el de 2kg para que sea más rápido el proceso.

Excelente maquina. Antes levava os grãos para a moagem. Agora faço a moagem em casa. Recomendo.
