Rectangular Polarized Sunglasses for Men

These are awesome. way better than over paying for some other brand. I will buy another pair soon

I've received a couple pairs of Olieye sunglasses for my wife and they've been great so I thought I'd try a pair for myself. While the construction is really good quality, the look falls a little flat. The lenses are a lot squarer than they look in the picture giving the glasses more of a prescription look that casual, fun shades. They do a good job of shading the sun and feel sturdy as I mentioned. Overall they are solid pair of shades that come in a nice case with a cleaning cloth for a fraction of the cost of higher end sunglasses. They just don't come across stylish enough to be your every day shades. They are more of the back up pair or yard work ones.

If you are like me, you're not always as careful as you should be with your sunglasses. I find myself taking them on and off and hanging them from the front of my shirt or setting them down somewhere until I want them again instead of carefully putting them back in a protective case. So, sometimes something not so great will happen to the sunglasses. They get lost or scratched or banged up. And it's painful if that happens to an expensive pair of sunglasses. For me, using these as everyday type sunglasses, I don't feel I have to worry so much about their well being. And, at the same time, these perform quite well for value glasses. The optics are good and the tint is dark. I like the flatter profile when folded because they hang flat from my shirt. They come with a nothing special case and a cleaning cloth, but they are still a good value. I withhold one star for the lack of spring hinges. I don't think that feature costs a lot to add and it's a good feature. These are also a little larger frame than I'd prefer, maybe by 10-15%, but that's not a major problem. Overall they're a good value choice for style and function.

I have owned several pairs of sunglasses made by Olieye and they are all nicely packaged with some extras like a cleaning cloth and a sturdy case. You need to handle them carefully because they are somewhat delicate and I have had problems with broken or scratched lenses in the past. In this case I am reviewing the rectangular lens sunglasses, and I believe serval different styles are grouped together on this page as far as reviews. These do have polarized lenses, which are a composite plastic. This particular style has a classic look, fairly sensible, and without any noticeable problems. I believe these are from China.

These are reasonably sturdy sunglasses, with dark polarized lens in an attractive aviator style frame. They come with a case and a polishing cloth. The price is very reasonable so for those who want a good quality pair of glasses but who have a tendency to break flimsy ones (or even not so flimsy ones) or to lose them, regardless of the price, these are an excellent choice.
