The Black Bomb is back!
Like another reviewer I've been looking for another "Black Bomb" for years since my old ones have worn out. This appears to be the same product, but with a different name. The only difference I can see is that the mold release agent used in manufacturing the Black Max has the feel of silicone spray and is a bit slippery. I don't seem to remember that feature in the original but it's no big deal as it will probably transfer off the ball during use. This ball is a fantastic outdoor toy for the 8 - 14 year old kid and the adults who care for them. It is smaller than an "official NFL" football but who cares? It fits better in smaller hands and is a pleasure to throw and catch. It's soft (but not nerf ball soft) material is easier on the hands and other body parts that it might impact by accident. Kids that shy away from leather footballs warm up to this one and have a lot of fun with it. It can be thrown a long distance and is easy to throw a nice spiral. The downside is that it will degrade over time and with use. It's best not to bounce it off of bricks and driveways as the abrasion that results will cause the dense foam material to wear away more quickly than play in a grass yard. But, hey, it's only $10 so buy a few and put them in a closet for later. Best $10 I've ever spent on a yard toy.

Perfect spirals
I bought 3 of these. They're awesome to play with a longevity on asphalt or hard services is relatively short. If you play a lot but the ball is fantastic. Its Soft doesn't hurt the little ones highly recommended.

Great spirals, nice weight, good quality
This football makes throwing spiral super-easy, which makes for a lot of back yard fun. The kids and I love it. It is a little heavier than a plain foam Nerf football, thanks mostly, I think, to the ring that helps you to put the spin on it. That makes it a bit nicer for distance and for breezy weather. Also, the dimples are a nice touch that also help with grip. The feel of the foam is otherwise a lot like a Nerf ball. Can't go wrong with this one for great fun.

Fun Football - Bought Multiple Times
This is a great football for kids (including kids and adults. I have bought three. It is "nerf-like" spongy material with a rubber middle band that gives it some weight and allows for throwing great spirals for much long distances than I expected. Its 8-1/4 inches long with a 16 inch circumference. Very comfortable to grip and throw. I have found them to be very durable but they are nerf-like and won't last forever. We put a lot of muscle into the throws and they have all lasted longer than I expected. One of ours died at the dog park after one of the pups got a hold of it and wouldn't let go which wasn't the football's fault. One died by ripping under the middle band, but again we got our value out prior. We have used this extensively on concrete, a few times at the beach, and also at the park. We keep it out of water. Fun times. I would not hesitate to buy this again.

Literally best foam football there is
Don’t listen to the bad reviews. This thing can make damn near anybody throw a great spiral. Don’t let your dog near it. He’ll tear it up outside of that. This thing is solid. I think I bought eight of them. They don’t stand up at all to the sun so don’t leave it outside, but i bought eight cause I give them away as birthday presents. Every chance I get or just coworkers with boys. This toy rocks.

Easy to throw a spiral, easy to catch and great for building confidence.
I love this football and its easy to get a real nice spiral with it. I use it primarily to play toss with my 13 yr old daughter - she loves it too. It's super easy to grip and get a nice spiral. Its also pretty soft - so its easy to catch. I saw the reviews about durability, but bought it anyway. That said, if your kids are using it to play rough-house football or they use it on pavement, I can see this ball getting torn up easily. For me, I understand the trade-offs and I like the size and weight. It has really helped to boost my daughter's confidence in throwing and catching a football. She can throw and catch a regular K2, but definitely prefers to play with this one. Hope that helps. And if and when this ball gets torn up, I will buy another one. BTW, my daughter and I have used the regular nerf football, plastic/rubber footballs, and the leather K2 football. This is my daughters preferencen ow.

Soft, flies great
We've had a couple of these and they're super comfortable to throw and have enough weight that you can really chuck them, despite their relatively small size. Super fun ball to play catch with. The foam is soft and does get torn up if you throw it into concrete a lot the way we do, but we haven't had one split in half over hundreds of drops so no issues there. We did destroy one by letting it get really wet, it ended up falling apart afterwards, so I wouldn't recommend it as a beach or pool toy, but otherwise these are great, especially for smaller hands or folks that aren't great at catching yet.

Best of The Foam Footballs
The easiest and best throwing foam football out there. Way better than the POOF brand. NERF moved to models that are encased in rubber tips and frames around them, but the down side is if the kids get hit by them, it hurts. The Diggin football is soft foam except for a green rubber ring that runs along the outside. Between the weight of the denser black foam and the ring, it is weighty enough to be stable in flight. The foam part is also firm enough to grip well enough to throw without having to crush it. The size is a little smaller than the POOF and NERF, but this is perfectly fine for younger kids learning to throw. Durability is above average for a foam ball. Ruff asphalt will still tear it and other foam balls up, but that's the nature of the material.

EL producto es bueno, un poco delicado ya que es de esponja, el primer día que lo utilice de la parte donde esta el arillo verde la esponja se empezó a partir, no creo que dure mucho se partirá por la mitad y adiós a mi dinero.
