This little hoop works great! The teenage boy uses it non stop, quite literally ALL the time. As much as I am happy that he likes it, I’m also so sick of hearing him dunking the dang ball in that dang hoop all the time. At least that tells you how durable it is though, this hoop has held up to the wrath of an active and energetic teen boy! Actually, since he has had this hoop, he has crashed into the nearby wall and broken a hole into the plaster not once but TWICE. And yet the hoop remains strong and undamaged!!! So hoop +1, wall -2? Anyways, it’s a good hoop and it makes the kiddo happy, that’s all.

I got this for my son for Christmas. The build quality is solid and it fit over the door without any issues. The rim is metal and pretty stout as well. It has a comparably hefty spring which comes in handy for that moment when you just feel the urge to slam dunk. The ball that came with it also felt like a little nicer quality for this type of product. Very happy overall. I might need to buy another one for my home office.

This product is pretty good, but kinda miss leading. You know that they saw, "oh we have cool springs and stuff on the rim like actually basketball hoops etc." its pretty useless... also when you dunk the backboard which is made out of plastic just bends for some reason and also buy a small basketball hoop not an XL, i bought an XL and its TOO BIG when i put it on my door i dont even need to just to dunk and is pretty boring, buy a regular one! I am giving this product 9 stars for a normal hoop and 8 for the XL. i waited around 3 days for the package btw. the assembling was pretty hard to screw in the small bolts and pretty annoying, and also this product is for like 12-15 year olds its pretty expensive and buy it for kids that acctually enjoy basketball more then a hobby! -Lukas stalauskas

I bought this as a gift. I was very impressed with the quality. It’s made of metal and hard plexiglass sort of material for the backboard. Rim itself is made of metal. Net is of good quality too. This has held up to a 9 yo dunking on it. It was very easy to assemble. Great for indoor use on a door. Great value.

I bought this SKLZ Pro Mini Hoop for my classroom, and it quickly became one of my best teaching hacks ever. The backboard is solid, the rim has real spring action, and it can handle way more “enthusiastic shots” than you’d expect from something hanging over a door. I turned it into a learning game: I’d make task cards or questions for the kids, and every time they got one right, they earned a shot. Suddenly, math and reading practice became the event of the day. Even my most reluctant students were participating just to take their turn at sinking a basket. The hoop is easy to hang, super durable, and surprisingly quiet—no rattling disaster waiting to happen. The included ball is perfect for indoor use and never once left a mark on my walls (which felt like a personal blessing). If you’re a teacher, parent, or just someone who wants to turn learning or work breaks into a fun game, this hoop is a total slam dunk.

Great door hoop. Durable and solid design. Does not scratch doors. My boys love it an will not stop playing on it.

The hoop is great and sturdy but the ball that came with it has an obvious hole. I cannot find a way to contact the seller to just replace the basketball.
