Chairs packed well. Couple tips on putting them together. First, the screws used to put on the stecher are aluminum phillps heads they are cheap and suggest you go get 8 stainless steel screws with hex heads. The other furniture screws use an Allen wrench, get a flexible drill bit attachment so you can drive in the screws. Don't over tighten. This will save you a lot of time putting these together. I show 6 chairs in the 1 picture and just got 2 more. They seem sturdy and looked nice with my new table.

I love these chairs! They are classic but the XX back give them a little more pizzazz!. They are comfortable, too. I am very handy and have put plenty of items together but these gave me a run for my money... It was very awkward putting the back together with the front. I bought 4 chairs (2 pairs) and was so excited to finally get the last chair together. They go with the Home Styles 5518-30 French Countryside round dining table. I was nervous about buying chairs without feeling them out but they are exactly what I wanted and wished for. I've never bought furniture online before because I like to sit on things and I am very tactile; I like to know the feel of the furniture. This is solid wood. The white isn't too bright and has a little bit of manufactured distressing - it looks nice. Not too much. I'm really glad I finally bought them! They replaced a counter height dark wood dining set. This is much more inviting and friendly!

SCREWS ARE HARD TO GET IN BECAUSE THE WOOD IS REALLY HARD. THAT IS A GOOD THING. THERE WERE NO HOLES IN THE CHAIR ITSELF. I HAD TO DRILL THE HOLE IN THE LEGS. THERE WERE HOLES IN THE STRETCHER (KEEPS THE CHAIR FROM PULLING APART.) THE PRODUCT IS SOLID AND WELL MADE. I ORIGINALLY ORDERED TWO CHAIRS. CHAIRS WERE SOLID SO I ORDERED TWO MORE. WE ALSO ORDERED THE TABLE. ALSO VERY SOLID.

I love my chairs. I bought two sets and they look great with my round oak table. They are heavy and well built. Not hard to assemble and packaged very well.

We took a chance and ordered 4 sets of these chairs becasue they match a table we got somewhere else and we love them! We've had them for about 3 weeks now and we love them! They are sturdy, big, heavy and pretty comfortable! We are so glad we bought them! there was some assembly needed but my husband was able to do it easily with his power tools.

Chairs are not white. They are cream. A faint hint yellow of a cream color. I will be returning them. However the sturdiness of the chairs seemed great

Super cute chairs! Assembly was pretty easy with a drill. A few legs were a tad shorter and need a felt spot to prevent rocking. Wood finish is MUCH lighter stain than I anticipated from the pictures! It's more of a normal light oak color. I also ordered from 2 diff sellers that had best price and one box was definitely a returned item because the bolts, nuts and screws kit was all mixed up! Thank goodness we did 2 chairs before and are handy people!

I was hesitant to order these chairs online without being able to see them or sit in them beforehand, but I'm glad I did! I really love these chairs - they look exactly as pictured, and feel very solid and sturdy. It took my husband a couple of hours to assemble all of them, but he didn't have much trouble understanding the instructions. I was also happy with the way they were packaged - the boxes had some surface damage (nothing major, just average wear and tear), but with the amount of solid packaging and styrofoam, these chairs were pristine! They're also pretty comfortable; the wood seat is conveniently formed in the shape of your butt, so they're more comfortable than they may appear at first glance. All in all, a solid purchase! I also purchased two sets and the colors matched each other perfectly (since one review mentioned that as a problem).
