26367EH 24' x 12' x 52" Rectangular XTR Frame Swimming Pool w/ Filter Pump - Large Above Ground Backyard Rectangle Pool w/ 45-Inch Deep Water

I bought this pool in April 2020. It lasted us through 6 seasons of Florida hot weather. We just took it down last month. I am very impressed with the quality and strength of the liner. I cannot believe that it lasted this long especially given that it was in full sun the entire time. We kept the pool running year long by keeping up with the cleaning and running the pump and the chlorinator, but reducing the time. The main things that required changing over time, were the hoses, the skimmer, and the titanium electrode in the chlorinator (if you get the pool and pump combo like we did). We ended up upgrading our stairs to something bigger, but that was just a preference. Looking back now, I prefer the stairs that came with the pool since they are much easier to maintain and do not collect algae since they can be accesses easily to be cleaned. I highly recommend putting pavers under the U-shaped legs when installing the pool. We got the large 18 inch paver squares and put one under each leg. It helped tremendously prevent any rusting of the legs. In addition is helps the legs from sinking into the ground. The legs have a lot of pressure when pool is filled so the pavers kept them level and stable. I also kept the pump and chlorinator covered the entire time to protect from the elements and mostly the heat. I put a folding table over it and put a cover on the table. This was a make-shift shelter but it helped keep it covered and at the same time it gave me easy access to the pump and chlorinator. I used the top of the table to store some our floats and other pool items. So I do recommend finding some type of cover to put over the pump to protect it. Lastly I do recommend investing in a robotic type pool cleaner. I tried the manual vacuum that came with the pool and it worked fine, but it takes a while to clean the entire pool that way and it was not easy to reach all spots.

OK so it took a LONG TIME to prep the ground but the pool itself went up in less than an hour with two adults and two little kids assisting by unpacking and handing out the parts. It feels small if you go too crazy with the pool floaties, but with five people using just pool noodles it feels spacious and plenty of room. A couple points that are not super obvious, but might help you: 1) Site prep: Get the ground level. Dig down, don't build up. You need an extra foot or two outside the 12 x 24 dimensions for the legs. We did a lot of research and put down 1.5 inch foam insulation board over the ground for a nice, even surface underfoot, as well as insulation from the cold NH ground. We then put 4 inch think pavers for each of the legs, digging down to make the tops level with the foam board. (Full disclusure, we originally used 1.5 inch think pavers, which cracked after 10 days and caused one of the legs to crumple and required draining the pool and re-setting the new pavers. Ouch. Other people recommend composite wood and other things for leg supports, so do your own research, but be aware.) Trouble Free Pools has a GREAT forum for help and tips. 2) Heating. We got a $45 solar blanket which warmed up the water pretty well, then added one of those solar mat heater thingies that hooks into the pump system, which really does a surprisingly good job of heating the water. After a stretch of about 5 sunny days the water went from 55 (when filling it) to 85. I sprang for the Intex solar blanket reel to make it easier to work with. 3) Filter and chemicals. You need about 150 pounds of filter sand, 210 pounds of pool salt, and 1 pound of cyanuric acid to start. Also pool test strips. You may need other stuff as you go along but that's enough to get started. You need to put the salt in, spread it around and run just the filter for 24 hours to mix it up, then run the filter + chlorinator for the prescribed amount of time, continuing to do that every day all season. Check your manual for the time, but ours is about 7-8 hours a day. 4) Ladder. The ladder works but it is wobbly and not great for grandma. Pain in the neck to get in and out. Hubs is building a small deck with normal stairs up and a deck to pool ladder to get in. Recommend adding a more stable, locking ladder. Also recommend adding a foot bath to the bottom of the stairs to keep the debris out of the pool. 5) Filter. Works great for us so far. The vacuum does not appear to be working very well, so we may buy a new vacuum if messing around with this one doesn't give better results. That's all for now - enjoy!

It's a great pool and I do recommend it. I contemplated the 32 x 16 and 24 x 12. I built a frame with PVC for both sizes to see how it would fit in my yard. I eventually went with the 12 x 24 and it was a good decision. Although the 32 x 16 would have fit, it really would have taken up a large chunk of my yard. I can't emphasize enough to follow the instructions to be sure your area is PERFECTLY level. Also, to use pressure treated wood or concrete blocks under the side braces. I had an area leveled by a contractor with packed stabilized DG . I was going to put in concrete blocks where the braces met the ground, but as we were preparing the area, there was no way to tell exactly where the braces will meet the ground until the pool was rolled out. After the area was prepared, the DG was hard as a rock so I thought it would suffice and I didn't bother putting in concrete blocks. But after filling the pool and the weight started bearing down on those braces, they started sinking into the DG. Once a corner sunk enough for water to start coming out it was like a dam breaking and it was all over! I had to empty the pool, have the area re-leveled and put concrete blocks in where the braces met the ground. The pros of this pool: * Very durable. Once up and filled, it is very solid. The kids have played rough in it and no problems. * 52 inch height is a comfortable height and you don't feel like you are in a "kiddy" pool. * My local pool stores sell similar pools for 3 to 4 times as much and I don't see a difference in quality between their similar pool and the Intex pool. * It is easy to assemble, but its not 30 minutes as the add says! Cons * As many folks have said, the included pump is to small for this pool. The specifications say it is OK- but it is a minimum specification. I had a 2600GPH pump that I had bought as an upgrade for a previous Intex pool so I used that. * The ladder is wobbly and not very safe. One of the steps broke as a 170lb person was climbing up. I would recommend buying a different ladder or building a small deck to get in and out. A note to manufacturer - for a few bucks more it would be nice to put some attention to the following items: * It would be nice to include a blueprint with measurements of the pool and brace spacing so concrete pads can be put in for the braces when you are preparing the area - before rolling out the pool (how far they protrude from the sides, distance between the braces, etc) * The flimsy suction hoses - they pull on side of the pool and it looks very cheesy as they hang off the side of the pool bending the pool liner. Why cant you use the same fittings for the suction hoses as the return hose? * For $10 more can you provide a ground cloth that is more than paper thin? It ripped just putting it down on the ground as we were pulling the wrinkles out. The exposed part disintegrated within a couple days. * The suction and return are inches apart. I am not an expert - but I think that it would be better water circulation to have the suction at one end and the water return at the opposite end? * A nice blue exterior or some kind of design would be nicer than grey with giant INTEX logo on it!

Proper pool footprint/ground preparation and enough helpers to put this together is everything!!! This is our second Intex pool. Our first one lasted 3 summers. The issue was, we dug out a pool “footprint” and put down sand & the tarp, even put down pavers for under the supporting rails but that was NOT enough. The floor of the pool wasn’t soft/supported enough & eventally started leaking. We needed up needing to throw away the pool entirely. Now this summer we started by purchasing a slightly larger Intex pool. We widened the pool footprint for a slightly larger size pool. Brought in new sand (just the cheap sand is fine). Make sure that once you put down the sand, water it down and let it “settle”, then let it dry out a bit & bring it more sand so it isn’t lumpy & level it out as much as possible. Then, spend the money on the lock together style gym mats. We got ours at Academy, but they sell them here on Amazon & many other places, too. It doesn’t matter what color they are because they are going to be under the pool. You’ll need enough to cover the entire underside of the pool. Very important. We did 1/2” thick, but you could also do 3/4” thick if you prefer. Put the locking gym mat pieces over the sand. Then, there is a tarp that comes with the pool (to go below the pool). Put the tarp over the sand & the mats. So again, it’s leveled out sand, locking gym mats, then the tarp, then the pool on top of that. This is imperative to make the floor comfortable and to protect it from eventually starting to leak. Then under the support poles, put your pavers. (On top of the tarp). Make sure you have about 4 people to install the actual pool cause you’ll need the extra hands for a pool this size. It took us several hours just for the installation of the pool itself, but it’s well worth it to take your time & do this right. Truly an amazing pool & so much less than an overpriced in ground pool!

Very unhappy customer here. I watched a lot of videos about the setup for these pools before ordering one to see if I should save a few bucks and get one of these, or spend a little more and get an actual above ground pool. I decided to go with this one for $2k because it had everything and was on sale at the time. While watching the ground prep videos a lot of people put sand under the liner to make it softer and more forgiving on your feet. Well that voids the warranty. They should probably make sure when posting on YouTube to tell people that first and foremost. Not sand under the support legs mind you, but just under the liner itself voids the warranty and they won't help you with anything at all. It's in fine print in the manual so I have no one to blame but myself and my selfishness for wanting to be comfortable when myself and the kids are walking in the pool. About 6 weeks after owning it, we had rain and wind and one side completely collapsed when the ground got a little soft. Support was zero help. The guy I spoke with went so far as to tell me to get dig out the manual, go to a specific page, look at a certain paragraph, and then read it aloud to him so that he could tell me 'and that's why we aren't going to help you'. Customer service is lacking. I tried to call back and talk to someone else, but the rep had notated the file associate to my name/email and apparently put a comment in there to not help me. I'm blown away at how they handled the situation. All I needed was a few replacement frame parts which would have cost them a few dollars but for me to replace them now is almost $400. I might as well buy a new pool because who knows if this will happen again. Very unhappy with the product, the service in particular, and the way the situation played out. I would NOT recommend this product. Might as well spend a little more and get an actual above ground pool that is more sturdy and secure and will last for years. I give their customer support 0 stars. The product itself wasn't anything great either so it gets 2 stars. It kept the kids occupied, but the ladder is wabbly and not made for anyone over 200lbs so build your own deck up to it and hope that an actual above ground pool ladder doesn't tear the liner. I'm sure that it won't be covered under warranty either. The jet and suction weren't great either. The vacuum barely did anything other than stirring up dirt. Just overall, spend a little more and get a real above ground pool rather than Intex and avoid all the potential headaches.

The setup was easy build took less then 3 hours,size is 24 x 12 x 52, It could be less but in the florida heat it was hard to worked outdoor the iron bars and the pool material got hot so we took our time but it's was easy all parts was easy to get together, if your back yard is level ,so u don't need extra expenses I was thinking to build a wood dack but the price was not worth it in spacial when u rent house, the pump was easy setup too no any deficlty to operate, I tooked few step beyond to avoid sun damages on the pump and boght a garden tool box and put the pump inside to make sure work properly and out of the sun or rain damages, its worth the money the pool and the pump work perfectly no issues, water is crystal clear we got the salt water so u need to add like 4-5 bags of salt in the beginning then its just maintenance to fill water took me like 2.5 days its was fast, overall nice and fun pool I got the 24x12x52 Note: if u decide to add wood chock under the supports bar make sure u get them wide enough to not get slipped out when u loading the water the bar start to move/slide out I put 2x4 and the just slide down if u keep eye on them when u strat to pore water keep adjusting them before the pool get full water then it too late u can't move or adjusting them I got some of them moved and the bar slide down no I need to get jack or tool to balance them back so keep eye on the or get wider wood. enjoy

We’ve now had this pool for a year and a half and it’s great! Everyone loves it, the saltwater system is easy to care for, and the price can’t be beat for a pool this size. The only negative thing I would say is that installation is definitely not the 60 minutes advertised 😂😂 it was worth the hassle though.

I watched all the videos and reviews on this pool for about 4 months. So I want to add some bullet points to this pool: - 2 hours to level the ground. Brought in Sand and made sure we have a level ground, but nothing perfect. - 3 hours to put the pool up. Me and my 100lb fiance accomplished this task and unpacking everything from all the boxes takes a lot of time. It was tough because the pool liner is heavy. I wish we had spend a little bit of time to pull every wrinkle out. Be sure where the tarp is laid is where you want the pool, there is no going back to move it unless you have an army. Be sure you have a dolly for this job, i bought one and it was the best thing to buy for this job. One thing to note, I thought Intex sent me the wrong corner poles because they are much smaller than the other poles, but that is just how they are, they need to move. I was pretty upset until I watched other videos and noticed thats just how they are. - 2 hours to hook up the pool filter, salt water and connect the hoses. You will need about 120 lbs of sand to put in the filter(sold at home depot and says pool filter sand). You will need about 8 bags of salt (sold at walmart and says pool salt) to start. You will need about 3lbs of water stabilizer (cyanuric acid sold at Walmart) to start. You will need a pool water test kit, the pool comes with test strips but eventually you will want to upgrade. - The pool took about 3days to fill up. Changed my hose for better output of water. I did not water at night because I was always pulling the legs to make sure they were out. I put 1 inch bricks on the legs (not level to the ground) on the most inner side of the brick. By the time the pool filled up, the legs kicked to the middle of the brick. The rails will dip until the pool is 100% filled, my right side still has a slight bend, but over time I know the ground is soft and the bricks will sink. Over all I am happy right now with this pool and excited for summer to come now. The pool is BIG. I like how Intex sends you mostly everything you will need to get this pool started and running. The pool is a lot of work to setup and maintain, but the benefit of having a very large pool will pay off. After summer I plan on taking it down and storing, so maybe i can write a review on how that goes.
