This durable leather boot features 200 g of insulation for warmth; an oil-resistant, non-marking rubber lug outsole for traction; and seam-sealed waterproof leather uppers. Review: I live in Minnesota, and the winters here can get rather cold. This past winter wasn't too bad, but I was sick of the old pair of winter boots I had lying around the house. They're bulky and the least bit stylish. Initially, I wanted these boots for work because I kept slamming my toe into things, but I no longer work there. The steel toe is always an added bonus, but that's not the highlight of these boots. To start, they're very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They're durable and definitely waterproof at least up until the lace area. They aren't slip proof, but they do offer some slip resistance; in other words, they have good traction. I can walk through mounds of snow with ease and I usually find myself purposely walking the most treacherous of paths. I see these boots lasting a long time for me. I don't even plan on swapping out the insoles because they're comfy enough as they are. Of course, they're leather, so they're going to smell nice. Review: These boots are great! They feel wonderful and look great!!!

I don't recommend wearing thick winter work socks with these boots unless you're working outside in more extreme conditions. I spent an hour or so shoveling snow in 15ish degree F weather and my feet never got cold. Good waterproofing too, the anti fatigue inserts are nice as well. Highly recommend these work boots
