Lemon Eucalyptus (Huge 8oz) Best Essential Oil

This review is for Sun Organic - Lemon Eucalyptus (Huge 8oz) Best Essential Oil. I bought this to try against mosquitos. First - I use a brand of lemon-eucalyptus mosquito repellant that works great for me at preventing mosquito bites. Second - This smells just like that. I suspect if it was a mixture of lemon and eucalyptus, it might not smell like "lemon eucalyptus". I put several drops into water in an essential oils vaporizer and put it outside on our back porch - yes there were mosquitos around. Even though the vaporizer put out such a light vapor, it kept us all from getting bitten for hours. I was amazed. We also used a fan to distribute it. If you are really curious and skeptical, I suggest reading the CDC web page for more information on what oil of lemon eucalyptus is and how it was tested. That said, I'm happy with this as a mosquito deterrent. I suspect many of the original recipes that reviewers have posted would work quite well too. Cheers! Enjoy!

Smells great

I really like the quality of this oil. It can be used in multiple ways. The smell is really nice. After I clean my bathroom, I lightly rub some on side of tub - leaves a fresh smell in bathroom!

I am not sure that I would purchase this again. Which probably seems strange or negative. The simple truth is, that while this is a well made, good quality oil, I have been mixing my own lemon + eucalyptus oil for years. I'm not sure that I like the their ratio of lemon to eucalyptus in this oil. It maybe that, I'm just hooked on my own blend . At any rate this is well worth buying.

I bought this after reading an article on natural mosquitoe repellents. It isn’t a terrible smell but it is strong. It does seem to keep the mosquitoes at bay for a time. It also works well on the annoying other small bugs. I put this on myself and my horse and spray the horse’s bedding as I don’t like to use poison on her if I can help it. It seems as effective as Off or Cutter.

There is 0 eucalyptus notes in this. Smells likes super strong synthetic lemon pledge. Just made the WORST smelling batch of lotion

This is the best scented oil. It’s refreshing, calming, and does not smell like bug spray like so many others have. I highly recommend this product. I am prone to migraines and this does not affect my head.

I love the scent of eucalyptus mixed with lemon oil. Mild and soothing. Great to keep in your bathroom cabinet for use during the sinus/allergy season, as well as flu season. Just place a drop or two on your pillow or sheets. Great for people who are sensitive to strong scents/ fragrance.
