LE LABO Santal 33 Eau de Parfum 0.5 oz

This is lovely as far as scent. I’d love to find a normal size bottle. Yes, it’s pricey for the size as others have mentioned, but if you’re looking to use only onoccasion, it’d be fine and well worth the price. I burned through mine, but will be a second sampler to tide me over until I find something comparable in larger size. Recommend if you like santal fragrance.

This sentence is so nice and clean

I purchased this for myself after hearing how great it's supposed to smell.. When I received the product I opened it, gave it a spray and was surprised to find out how much it smelled of alcohol and not a very strong fragrance. It doesn't last very long at all and usually is gone after an hour or so. I ended up buying another straight from the Le Labo website and it's a night and day difference! The color is even different. I would just buy it through the Le Labo website, it lasts so much long and you only need one spray.

I smelled this perfume on a woman last year while attending a conference in Miami. She and I were sitting next to each other and every so often she'd move and the air would fill with this divine fragrance. When we had a moment I asked her the name and complimented her. She was so happy for the compliment as it was a new purchase for her, she said it was expensive, around $300, and she'd decided to splurge to have it for this convention. Later I looked for it in stores in my area so I could spray and see if I liked it but no one carried it, so I pretty much dismissed it. One day while simply browsing Amazon, this pandemic has given me lots of time to do that, I thought of that fragrance and 'voila', there it was! And to make it better a sample vial at $20, couldn't go wrong although my husband thought I was crazy to pay that much for a small sample, he just doesn't get it!, lol It arrived within days, wrapped very carefully and not a drop spilled. I was so excited! The vial is smaller than your typical perfume sample vial received from the cosmetics counter (see my picture) but is full and a little truly goes a long way. I wasn't sure how I felt about this fragrance when I initially tried it, the top note always leaves me a little confused, but after a few minutes I'd find myself constantly sniffing my wrist or the top part of my clothing closest to my neck as the fragrance kept drawing me. It lasts for hours and you get occasional whiffs of soft and lovely. Definitely different with a sophiscated and alluring scent, something a confident person would wear. It's not your wear every day perfume, at least not for me, but will be one that will leave a lasting memory. I will buy the large bottle.

Although it’s a very small vial. To think that these vials back in the day you could go to the perfume counter to get for free. I came across this scent on a lady and it smelled wonderful. It smelled so good I had to ask, “What are you wearing?” The next day I ordered the sample. Definitely pricey but worth it. I was happy to learn that the scent works with my body chemistry! If you want to mk sure the scent is for you before committing to the full bottle price, this is the way to go. It smells amazing!

I like the way it smells but not sure it is the genuine perfume. There is a slight difference between the first time I smelled it from a friend who purchased the original Santal 33. The size was not worth the price I paid, especially since it smells differently.

less than one star....I paid almost 60 dollars for a sample size perfume that Le Labo sell for 9 dollars on their site!! It is a scam do not buy this....
