Respiro Saddles

I have a real issue with my butt hurting after bike rides. I have tried SO many seats until this one was finally recommended to me. I was finally able to stop wearing padded shorts/pants thank goodness because they made me feel like I was wearing a diaper. I can actually just wear yoga pants with this seat & my butt is not sore. Well, my bike got stolen & I was so sad because that means by seat got stolen, too. I couldn't find this seat online for a while so I tried THREE different seats! All of them made my butt sore. SO HAPPY I found this seat again!!! Seriously the best seat.

In the past I have always had good success with various Serfas RX series saddles on my bikes but for my new ebike the requirements were different and I felt I needed to try something different as well. The stock SR Freeway made me wonder what part of my lower anatomy wasn't sore or numb after a 45 minute ride. Swapping RX-921 and RX Hybrid seats from my regular bikes showed considerable improvement but the more upright position seemed to beg for something more so I opted to try the Serfas CR-RXL and this SR Respiro Soft Relaxed. From familiarity I expected to like the Serfas better but was surprised to find the Respiro noticeably more comfortable.I would attribute that to the wider relief channel and a better fit for my sitz bones. The firmer CR-RXL's channel just didn't give as much relief either to the front or to the tail bone. I've attached some photos of both seats for comparison. I am not sure yet how the saddle will hold up over time but have to give it 5 stars for comfort. PS I don't know why some of these upload in the wrong orientation even when rotated and reuploaded

Seems like a good seat. I tried another "comfort" seat that was "too comfortable". it was too soft. And, it didn't have a satisfactory relieve channel. This one seems to have the right amount of softness, gel, comfort, without being too soft. And its cooling vent does work. Someone else said it works too well in winter, need to block the vent to keep your privates from freezing! I only used it on one ride so far, a 20 mile ride today. It was definitely an improvement over my previous one that was too soft and not enough relief channel.

I have been searching for a comfortable seat for my upright riding style, tried several seats that have been disappointing. I found this seat very comfortable, it's soft but not too springy and seems to absorb bumps and rough pavement well. I haven't tried it on long rides yet, and still need to make some minor adjustments, but it feels like it is going to be the "one" for me.

Not a ton to say, it just works. It's tremendously comfortable given the gel and mounting system, it's wide without being overly so, and it's impossible to beat the airflow system for comfort and cooling on LONG rides. Excellent product, gladly would recommend to family, friends, and strangers. Nice job.

Other people might find this sale to be comfortable but I found it to be rock hard after a few miles of riding.

I have never had a more comfortable bike saddle in my life. I bike commute to work about 10-12 miles each way and seat comfort has not been an issue since I got this saddle!! Before this saddle, seat pain was one of the main obstacles to getting through the ride. When I first ordered the seat it had a cut in the cushions but they replaced it promptly.

I purchased this seat and the Bell RECLINE 800 Memory Foam Saddle Bell RECLINE 800 Memory Foam Saddle . I haven't tried the Serfas Men's RX Bicycle Saddle - RX-921 , but went with this name again. I also purchased the bicycle seat cover made by this company. My biggest gripe with this seat is that although this is much softer than the Bell 800 at the front part of the seat, I feel that the Serfas targeted this area, which I'd rather this was done by Selle Royale. I feel comfortable with this company since I've put hundreds of hours into using my prior bike seat, and although it looks quite beat up, it's still quite functional. Can I recommend this seat over the Serfas Rx? I couldn't, but I can share my experience I'm having with this bike seat. The Xsenium gel is really top notch, as I can attest to from my prior Selle Royale. I wish they would have the front portion of the seat facing outwards and upwards at a targeted angle. I'd still recommend this seat for the seating cushion. Update: I tried the Serfas Rx, and it took away from the cooling experience, and made the saddle harder. I'm reconsidering my review as I really find this saddle to be really excellent without any cushions or extra padding. 5 stars! This seat outperforms the Serfas Rx by leaps and bounds.

Cette selle n'est pas esthétiquement un top-model... Elle est joufflue et son look n'est franchement pas très sportif. Mais quel confort! Le rembourrage et la largeur de cette selle rendent les balades très agréables. Je l'ai montée sur mon vélo électrique, c'est un plaisir.

This is a fantastic saddle. I had the previous version of the Respiro model but in moderate. It did me about 3 years with very heavy use (several rides a day) and was very comfortable. When I replaced it with this one I made the mistake of angling the new saddle slightly too much up. As a result it was too hard on my sitting bones, although the riding position was much improved (more upright). After I changed the angle so that the saddle lies almost flat, very slightly angled toward the front, it became a dream. The cushions for the sitbones are perfectly positioned, and the design really helps with pressure on the perineum. Sitting on the saddle feels natural, even on long rides. I'm 1.64m, 59kg, so average height and weight. I like this saddle so much that I bought a second one for the future!

Ich (weibl.) habe einen etwas größeres Hinterteil und Steißbeinprobleme. Bisher hatte ich einen sehr großen Gelsattel, da ich dachte, dass die große Sitzfläche bequemer ist. Aber ich kam ich mit solchen Sätteln nicht wirklich zurecht. Dieser Sattel hier ist super. Durch die Unisexgröße ist er nicht so schmal, sondern bietet mir eine ausreichende Sitzfläche. Ich rutsche nicht mehr vor und zurück um mir während des fahrens eine bessere Sitzposition zu verscfhaffen. Duch die Ausparung entsteht kein Druck bei mir mehr am Steißbein. Der Sattel ist für mich ausreichend gepolstert weich. Ich spüre kein "Innenleben", obwohl ich kein Leichtgewicht (90 kg) bin. Ich bin rundum zufrieden und würde diesen Sattel immer wieder kaufen.
