WallPops WPE99074 World Dry Erase Map, Multicolor

I love this. I ordered it o that we could have a flat view (since we have a globe already) of the world. It's slightly smaller than I imagined, but a good size,. Of course the description gave dimensions, I think I just pictured it larger. It went on the wall very easily, and we did have to restock it, since my husband thought it looked crooked, and he was right. It came off and back on with no problem. We have family and friends on most of the continents, and so with the dry erase marker with which it came, we marked where everyone lives. Also helpful, which the kids were excited about, is that at the top and bottom of the map, the time zones are indicated by clock faces. Today we were studying Ancient Africa, and needed to locate the Sahara, and so we went over tot he map, and located it. I am happy with this map. It is very practical for our needs. We live in a rental, and I didn't want to attach anything to the walls with tacks or other tools. I think we will enjoy using it.

My son is a geography freak at only four years old. Having these maps to write on with dry erase markers has been an excellent learning tool for him. He loves tracking our family and friends' car travels and making up stories of trips around the country and the world. They were extremely easy to apply to the wall and have stayed stuck without any peeling or tearing. They wipe off beautifully. No complaints! Fantastic product at a fantastic price!

I have this map hanging in my BnB. Guests add a dot to where they are from. It is so fun to see the map filling up with dots. I also use the map as a reference when I need to brush up on my geography. This is my second map. The first one eventually peeled away from the wall after a few years. My new map was also starting to peel away as well - maybe I should have cleaned the wall better before hanging it? I "framed" it with painters tape and it is doing great.

This is a great map. The quality is wonderful, and the colors are mostly bright and vivid. Everything is printed crisp and clear. My one complaint is that the colors used for the U.S., Mexico, and Canada are very similar and muddy, and from a distance it is hard to see the difference clearly. I don't know why they did it this way, as it would have been easy to use different colors. If you're looking for a dry-erase map with a sticky back, then this is still an excellent choice. I used this and the U.S. map and stuck them to the front and back of a foam board, so that I can flip it around on the school room wall when I need to. If it weren't for the poor color choices, this would have gotten 5 stars from me.

I've been teaching my kids about different countries around the world, and I wanted to have a map so they can learn to find the places we're studying. We've had this up for a few months now, and it has worked perfectly! I love that it's a dry erase map. The marker that came with the map has a small eraser on the end, and both have worked well so far. My kids like to mark and circle the countries as we talk about them. It was easy to peel the backing off and stick the map onto our wall. I really like not having to put holes in the wall in order to hang a map...just stick this on and whenever we want to move it or take it down we can simply peel it right off. The colors on the map are nice and bright. I'm planning on looking for another map of the United States just like this one.

it arrived all smashed in, bent, and creased, and those didn't come out even when i put it up. that said, it's a nice, colorful, detailed map, and it sticks up easily--i put it on a glass sliding door. the erasable marker that comes with it also sticks up easily in its holder, and it writes well, and has a nice eraser on the marker cap. probably 5 stars for the map itself, which seems to me a good value, but if it's going to be mailed it needs to be better packaged.

I have this up in my Ham Radio Room to quickly mark contacts I make and it's just about the right size for me to reach any spot on earth without having to awkwardly extend my reach from my chair. When my nephew comes over (9 years old), he can clearly and quickly mark a country he learned about in school he wants me to try to talk to. It's a no-nonsense map with a good coating that works well with dry-erase markers and semi-permanent "overhead projection" markers (they can be washed off with water and a cloth) and the price is spot on.

This is a very nice map, but I made an error and did not measure my space well enough. I was planning on putting it on my son's closet door so that he could look at it and memorize countries in the world. Unfortunately, it was bigger than I thought and does not fit well. Right now it is in my room waiting for a place to be hung. The map itself, however, is very nice. Just be sure to have the proper place for it. If you are planning on using it to teach students their countries, a nice website to compliment the lessons is "Ilike2learn.com". Heeding others warnings, I did not try to remove the sticky from the map and was going to hang it using clothespins on a string. It is somewhat heavy, so the string needs to be thick.

In dotazione riceverete il planisfero (ben arrotolato) e la relativa penna per disegnarci sopra. La mia scelta è stata di applicarlo su di un pannello in legno ritagliato su misura e poi applicagli ai lati delle cornici (solo per estetica). Per far aderire in maniera corretta il planisfero su di una qualsiasi superficie è consigliato essere almeno in due persone, ma con un pó di pazienza è possibile farlo anche da soli.

Compré este mapa hace unas semanas. Es una pegatina gigante (60x90), un poco complicada de poner y que no queden burbujas de aire, así que es mejor hacerlo entre 2 personas. Lo pegamos en los azulejos de la cocina y tuvimos que despegar algunas partes para corregir la posición y evitar que se hicieran arrugas. Quedó perfecto. Una vez puesto, es fantástico. Tiene bastante detalle de ciudades y accidentes naturales (ríos, montañas, cabos...). Lo usamos como referencia y para que nuestros hijos aprendan a localizar países, ciudades, ríos y montañas en el mapa. Me parece muy útil en el ámbito familiar.

Its a great map, has the details. Easy to peel and install. Wonderful decal. Can write on it with the erasable marker. Looks great and is helpful for my 10 year old.

Nickel. Aucun souci de transport. La photo est bien representative. Nous l'utilisons pour préparer un tour du monde. Cela fait 4 mois qu'elle est collée est aucun souci.
