how long to charge this energizer aaa battery with my eastshine s2 charger? can be charged at 1000amp? the battery will be hot?

The charger must be listed to work with the specific chemistry. If your charger says it will charge NiMH (nickel - metal hydride) batteries is should be good. Remove the battery from the charger when fully charged. The battery may be warm when the charge ends; this is normal because of the work (energy transfer) that has been done. In general batteries should be charged at 1/10 their normal discharge rate listed on their specification sheet (usually available online from the manufacturer.) If you are making you own charger, note that newer chemistries such as NiMH require use of an electronic charge management circuit and temperature sensor to vary the charge rate to prevent overheating the battery. (These are available online.)

can you use these in a cordless phone

yes you can. i prefer the rechargeable saves money and most of time the rechargeable that came with phones are not as good as these here. we use a panasonic branded cordless phones and replaced them with these. no issues from batteries. even if your original batteries are non rechargeable these should work. But keep in mind there are phones that use another style of batteries so one must check your phone and see.

What would be the recommended recharge cycle to optimize these batteries (AAA). *using a charger with adjustable settings

Using up to 400mAh (500mAh might be fine but the batteries will be a bit warmer) in a smart charger and usually i will refresh the batteries in a high drain device (or the device you plan on using them in). If the device is not a high drain device such as a USB battery pack or a Maglite flashlight (you'd have to monitor the flashlight to avoid over discharging) then using a smart charger with a discharge feature is the best way.You shouldn't need to cycle the batteries more than once (top off charge > discharge > full recharge), you could actually test the batteries and that would be good enough, i suggested the latter though because i don't want to waste cycles on a smart charger. One full discharge cycle upon purchase is necessary due to self discharge and most likely because the batteries are more than a few months old and then subsequent refreshing is only needed based on usage. The more you recharge them the more you refresh them, but is generally a good idea to regularly charge them if you are using them daily.

4pk Rechargeable Energizer AAA batteries

I used these in my thermostat that is connected to my furnace as well as portable carbon monoxide detectors I like the use of these rechargeables batteries for the reason they last for months in these devices on a single charge, I'm a repeat purchaser of these energizer batteries since they've came out, these are great batteries to use in kids toys and tv remotes as well as tons of gaming gear. these charge fairly fast and fit in both of the rechargeable charging units not included in this 4pk. Money saver in the end because on average I've had some of the batteries last past 3 years of being recharged which I consider is well worth the price.

good price point. the pre-charge on a holiday decor lasted over 30 hours constant lighting, so pretty good. took 6 hours to recharge, which seems like a long time to me but idk. don't foresee needing more, but I'd probably re-purchase these.

My review is on the Energizer recharge power plus rechargeable AAA batteries. I love these rechargeable batteries. Ever since I started using the rechargeable, it seems like they last forever! I have never had a problem with them, and they last so much longer then regular batteries do. I've used them in my camera, and only had to recharge them after 5 months of using it. It also is really good in the remote controls and my Christmas ornaments that need AAA batteries to use for music. These batteries last a long time in between charges, and they save allot of money. I would definitely recommend these Energizer rechargeable batteries.
