Ultrastrong Plastic Cutlery Combo, 24 Count

My family uses plastic cutlery daily, because spoons magically disappear in our house. I won't buy expensive stuff until my three year old stops confusing the trash can and the sink.I bought a recycled brand specifically made for everyday use a while back. I needed more, but I became disgruntled knowing the brand upped their price by $3 per pack on Amazon -the exact amount they charge for shipping on their website. Yes, they charge $9 to ship three packs of cutlery to me, whether it's on Amazon or their website. It felt dishonest, so the search was on for a replacement.Our family has gone through many different brands of plastic cutlery to find the perfect ones. Well, we've been using the Dixie Ultrastrong for a few weeks now, and I can honestly say they are dramatically better than anything else we've tried. In fact, they are better than the recycled brand we were originally using, and they're $5 cheaper per pack. Considering we need three packs, I saved $15 buying this superior stronger brand. Finally, we found the perfect plastic cutlery for everyday use that can pick up steak without breaking, get washed in the dishwasher, and is great for everyday use by a family of seven.

I bought theses with the intentions of using them while camping. Something I could wash & reuse but not worry about if they get lost or thrown out.I found that this set is stronger than the cheapest plastic ware around but nothing to brag about. The forks at Wendy's are just as strong if not stronger.

These are truly heavy duty. When you're in the south and you've got guests who have to get through big honking slabs of meat and you don't want to mess up your good steak knives, these are the plasticware to buy.But don't you try to use them on granddad's over cooked steak that he "forgot about" on the grill while he was "topping off" his beverage. There's no plasticware that can stand up to that kind of abuse. Go get you a set of real steak knives for when granddad's cooking.

Good enough to get the job done in most cases, but not overly heat resistant and prone to deforming when used in hot foods.

I buy these from time to time but there are some foods, especially the fork that make these utensils feel like any other cheap plastic utensils.

I had bought another brand for years and wanted to try this do to the convenient packages. Easy to pack in a car for vc travel but unfortunately not near as strong as the ones I found at Sams. I think I will have to return to Sams. Ultra strong is not accurate description.

I like to keep a set of these on hand at work for when I bring my lunches. They are very sturdy so the fork tines won't snap off when using. The spoon is a good size too, unlike most little dinky plastic spoons. I have them in my subscribe & save list and add a package to my monthly order whenever I'm getting low.
