I am a big fan of mitutoyo and this indicator does not disappoint. Very accurate I highly recommend.

A cheap, accurate, and smooth .0001 indicator. Nothing else needs to be said.

Got into precision cylindrical grinding after turning. I have the same mitutoyo indicator in .0005 and has always been amazing. Got this .0001 to make it easier to dial a set up in. Love the ruby tip, the dial is just as silky smooth and firm as the .0005. You can't go wrong with mitutoyo on anything. Everyone knows they make the best outside mics but their indicators are very underrated.

Repeats beautifully. I can trust it. A fantastic value. I have other DTIs. Swiss. Really, this one is hard to match for the money. Like it so much that I bought a 513-403 the other day.

Repeats to a fraction of a tenth, accurate. The needle rotates clockwise with increasing deflection in either direction. Dial turns smoothly. Ruby tip. I like the included mounting post. Comes with inspection certificate which indicates that they measure and report hysteresis. Highly recommend. Would purchase again.
