Very good blades, sharp as it should be... Hold the vegetables with a fork if you feel is dangerous for you... problem sorted! DO NOT press hard, just go with a lighter press/pull, and it will grate the veggies nicely...

I mainly use this for carrot ribbons in salads and courgette "noodles" for quick meal prep. What I love most is how space-saving and fast it is: it takes up almost no room in the drawer, juliennes what I need fairly quickly, and cleans up easily. Compared to bulkier mandolines or food processors, this is very useful for small batches. No setup, no scrubbing between the blades for 10 minutes. Just peel, rinse, done. The handle has a comfortable non-slip grip, it feels quite sturdy, and it's sharp enough to slice through carrots and courgettes cleanly. The strips come out nice and even (some strips come out attached one to another, but you can easily separate them with your hands). The one limitation: you can't julienne an entire vegetable end-to-end (safety feature, really). You'll always have a small piece left that needs a knife. But honestly, that's true of pretty much every handheld julienne tool. Safety-wise, you do need to stay focused while using the peeler: the blade is sharp, and if you're not careful you can nick yourself. Bottom line: useful kitchen tool, especially at the price. If you want quick carrot ribbons or courgette noodles without the faff of big equipment, this does exactly what it promises. Just stay mindful of your fingers!

Works well,easy grip. Don't make the mistake I did and didn't remove the sticker that protects the blade. It also has a plastic guard for when you put away. Worth the purchase,makes it easier as I have weakness in my hands and lack of dexterity.

Omg !! Saw this utensil on instagram and thought it can’t be as good but it’s impressive . It’s incredibly easy to use and it literally makes the best ribbons of celery , carrots , courgettes etc . Mighty but small / impressed .

The dimensions is different from ones in the picture. I already used it so have to keep it. It half the size.

Amazing peeler, great thin strips and perfect for coleslaw and stir fry veg

Was a bit sceptical whether this was going to be a bit of rash purchase, but, I was pleasantly surprised, works perfectly. Very easy to use and no need to get out bulky equipment.

Ich habe mir den Schäler geholt und bin echt begeistert. Ich nutze ihn hauptsächlich, um Zucchini und Karotten in feine Streifen für Zoodles zu verwandeln – und das klappt einfach mega gut! Die Klinge ist super scharf und gleitet fast von alleine durch das Gemüse. Im Vergleich zu einem großen Spiralschneider ist der Schäler viel handlicher und nimmt in der Schublade kaum Platz weg. Der Griff liegt auch bei nassen Händen sicher in der Hand, was bei Zucchini ja oft der Fall ist. Wer gerne gesund kocht und schnell perfekte Gemüsenudeln zaubern will, macht hier absolut nichts falsch. Kann ich nur empfehlen!
