French Girl Le Lip Tint - Moisturizing & Hydrating Lip Balm for Sheer, Buildable Coverage & Shine, Clean Formula, Organic Ingredients, Vegan & Cruelty-Free - Rose Noire

I have Rose Noire and Ambre Rose and have 2 other colors on the way. This is truly the lip balm I've been searching for! It's comfortable, hydrating, and not shiny. It's not totally matte, more of a satin finish but I didn't want the glowy, shiny finish of a gloss. And the colors are absolutely beautiful! This balm checks all the boxes for me, and though it could have more product for the price, it is totally worth it to me.

This is one of my all-time favorite lip colors. The Ambre Noir shade is a deep chocolatey-burgundy color which really complements my pale skin tone, and has a bit of shine. It's also versatile, because when it's first applied, the color is quite dark, which gives a dramatic look. But if you blot it, the color becomes more sheer, which is perfect for a subtler look. What I love most is that the color lasts for a long time - quite often, I notice that the tint sticks around even after eating and drinking. I find it to be reasonably moisturizing, and it definitely doesn't dry my lips out. The scent is sort of herbal, with a mix of mint and rose. If you look at the ingredients (which I found on the French Girl website), they are mostly organic, including plenty of moisturizing oils. So if you're looking for a natural tinted lip balm, I can't recommend this one enough!

I've purchased the shades Violette & Cerise; Violette is very slightly tinted which for me is the ideal. Cerise provides a bit more very natural looking lip color - nothing like a lipstick - more like a healthy glow. These are both excellent for the type of lip color I prefer; not a lot of pigment, smooth on the lips with no tacky or sticky feel, and a nice mild scent. I'll continue to rebuy these.

Love this! Such a subtle sheer color. Just enough. And it’s not drying. Knocked a star for a slightly odd scent. Not bad, just not my fav.

Not worth the money! Barely tinted lip moisturizer for $24 a rip off don’t waste your money!

Received this last night and have already pulled out the tinted balm (rose noire) to replace with my own balm. The packaging is very chic, matte black. I admit it’s what I like most about the product. The balm is very pigmented, the shade I bought (rose noire) is a brown/purple that clings to dry patches. Shame, I really wanted to love this. At least the tube looks good.
