Surprisingly effective
Have to be honest, did not hold out much hope for a poorly climbing rose that had been attacked by larvae. I had removed what I could find and repotted it then used these. The rose is now flourishing. I repotted another rose at the same time and it doesn’t look half as good as the one that was treated. Surprisingly simple to use if a little unusual and considering the results, worth it. Did the job required. I would use again if needed.

Beware the rose!
The nematodes seem to have worked well and plants in pots that I thought might be affected have perked up. Frustrating that the rose didn’t fit any of my watering cans so a waste of money - in fact the packaging states it doesn’t but description said it would fit most.

Sprinkler has a very wide neck.
The neck of the sprinkler is very wide it didnt fit my watering cans, I had to put rubber bands around the spout in order for it to fit.

Vine weevil nematodes and watering can rose.
Excellent product. Used this before as I live in the countryside and have had a problem with vine weevils before. Don’t be disheartened if the water doesn’t flow quickly, just tip the can/spout upright and then down again to clear. I will be buying this product again for a second application in a few weeks time. It does a good job in protecting my food crops.

Had to keep watering for 2 weeks after application, but can't find any weevils, so far.

Overall I am sure it’s okay but obviously you can’t tell as only kills the grubs. Will have to wait and see Only gave 4 star due to the spray not fitting my watering can. It’s perhaps not metric as it’s 20 years old but I expected it to fit

Extra coarse spray rose not extra corse and does not fit watering can
The extra coarse spray rose is not more coarse than the general rose of my watering can and it does not even fit it. On the description it states "Designed to fit any watering can." This is not correct. I assumed I would have to use an extra coarse spray rose that is why I bought this combination. It would be helpful if there was a diameter for the watering cans' "neck" given. The value for money of this vine weevil nematodes plus extra coarse spray rose is so only a bit half of what it could be, if the rose fitted the watering can (it is a regular 7L watering can).
