READ B4 you purchase!! I’ve mentioned in previous reviews regarding Walker’s ultra hold being an exceptional product that I have used for a good 20 years PLUS+. A disclaimer should be given to anyone that is going to use this Walker system please if you are inexperienced with the Walker adhesives I beg you DO NOT purchase this unless a professional is doing the installation! Thank me later because this system is top-notch and should only be utilize by someone that is familiar with the Walker adhesive system. This is very important. That said I recently was introduced to the Walker extreme hold system and let me tell you not only have I heard rumors for years that this is the glue that Beyoncé s stylist Allegedy uses for her units but when I tell you this stuff is top-tierquality, a cut above all the rest. Ghost Bond.& Bold hold are the industry standard yes but walker extreme hold is MUThA! At first, when I tried the extreme hold and comparison to wearing ultra hold on a regular basis, I thought that it was all hype and propaganda. I had my mind made up initially thatthey were basically one in the same, but upon wearing them both separately, I can definitely say that extreme hold is a different beast. This system is reserved for the individual that wishes to wear a unit for the longer extended wear. Aka several days to several weeks.I personally have never come across a lace glue that I can wear for weeks .Not that is not possible but my personal preference the Walker ultra hold system is my go to for two reasons. Number one in comparison to the extreme hold system is definitely more affordable number two.I don’t like to wear my lace unit for no more than three days because after then it starts feeling greasy && unsanitary for me. my hair and scalp needs to breathe so I technically wouldn’t get my full moneys worth using the extreme hold if I’m uninstalling it by the third or fourth day. The Walker extreme hold is extremely hard to remove as a matter of fact the few times that I have paid someone to install a unit for me they use the extreme hold system and yes, I’ve attempted to go well three days without removing the unit but for my skin type and I’m sure everyone’s skin type & pH balance will differ which also factors into the longevity of how long the unit will stay installed by the fourth day im ready to take her off ! the biggest grip that I do have about the extreme hold is that extreme pricing$$$I feel that the price is very hefty $77 and that’s on the cheap end exclusively if you are purchasing it on Amazon. Best to believe you go to some of the very few beauty supply retailers that regularly have the Walker extreme hold in stock his and hers,etc. you’re going to pay well over $100 for the 4 ounce extreme hold. Non negotiable! Now people may ask is it worth that amount yes and no. For the quality factor alone and the hold strength of the productyes you will get your moneys worth, BUT from the quantity aspect umm …..nah . the walker ultra hold system 4 ounce is literally $37 the same quantity amount! However, this is subjective due to the fact that when I do my own installation a very tedious process, I will use 2 to 3 layers to get the most hold & addition to the kiss ultra hold spray level 9 on top for good measure however, I can assure you that one layer Walker ultra hold will still give you a nice firm hold, that with any other brands bold hold/ghost bond it is mandatory that you will have to apply several layers to get the same equivalent hold.but I just wish that for the hefty price that you pay for the 4 oz extreme hold is tad overkill, but let me be completely honest and tell you this the question should be. Do you really need the walker extreme hold as an individual who operates and functions any chill climate. No, the Walker ultra hold in my opinion works exceptionally well with getting the job done, however and some extreme cases like I would think if you are an entertainer on a world tour with lots of lights and high heat environments yes, the Walker extreme hold would be mandatory. If not the standard.Other than that, as I said before this product in my opinion is the holy Grail need I say the godmother of lace adhesives ! Don’t get me wrong. This walker brand adhesive is not for everyone because it takes a certain level of patience and expertise to master the installation and I for One will gladly admit even using this product for 20 years plus I have not yet mastered the installation, but I’ve gotten better. This stuff is highly sensitive And I can’t count how many times I have removed the top and made the absent minded mistake of forgetting to put the top back on to the bottle and accidentally spilling the product! low and behold with the clumsy spirit of Steve Urkel the adhesive is everywhere and on anything but my headand there goes $77+ easily.flushed down the drain & 2 hours trying my best to extract the glue from my skin and everywhere else in the vicinity,! Yes, peoplethis stuff is no joke! When you make the fatal mistake of spilling the Walker extreme hold/walker ultra hold adhesive it’s the equivalent of an oil spill in the Pacific Ocean. Messy sticky & costly . Once again, I highlyrecommend in regards to the Walker extreme hold specifically it should only be handled by an experienced beautician who isfamiliar with the walker adhesivesystem because it’s definitely a specialty just the handling alone. I remember back in the day. The Walker company had videos tutorials on YouTube on the application process of the Walker adhesive. I’m not quite sure if they’re still on YouTube, but they are highly resourceful in regards to dealing with the system. Overall, it’sthe best that’s out there and I say this as someone who isn’t affiliated, nor am I sponsored by Walker. But I say this as someone who has beenwearing laceunits the majority of my adult life now in my 40s,I have yet to find an adhesive on the market that comes anywhere close to the hold execution of the Walker brand.

This adhesive dries really quickly, and the hold is great...but that's where the pros end. I applied to a lace front system and was happy about the result, initially. About an hour after application, I looked in the mirror and the adhesive had turned white when it completely dried. It also dried extremely shiny. Because the hold is so strong, it was very difficult to remove the system without damaging it to reapply with a different adhesive. So, I had to leave it on and use makeup to try to cover the adhesive. It's a disaster.

I knew it would be good! Best glue for holding wig in place through showering and sweating.

Super strong ! Holds the lace in place for days ! The downfall is that it is super tacky , messy and smells horrible! But it works !

Love it. Its a bit messy but with proper applicator my wig lasts weeks.

Great hold. Just have to know how to apply.

Hält definitiv nicht was es verspricht. Gibt wesentlich bessere auf dem Markt. Nach 2 Tagen schon kein klarer halt mehr. Das auftragen ist auch nicht einfach da ständig Fäden irgendwo sind. Würde das Produkt nicht mehr kaufen.
