Warning: This book contains a relationship between a very male Gargoyle and a very male human. If reading about 2 men together isn't your cup of tea, you might want to pass on this story. If reading about two hot males loving each other is to your liking, please read on. Jasper Jenkins was a solitary Gargoyle, feeling like he didnโt truly belong to a clan, until he moved to New Atlanta and joined the Stone Society. Now that heโs finally settling in, his past has reared its evil Gargoyle head and is targeting those around him, including the quirky M.E.โs assistant who happens to be his mate. Trevor McKenzieโs life is no stranger to heartache and loneliness. His insecurities began when he found out he was cloned just in case his brother needed spare parts. As danger closes in, his boss confides in him that the โbadass clubโ of gorgeous men he is surrounded by is really a Clan of Gargoyles. When he finds out heโs the chosen mate of the man he considers his best friend, the most gorgeous of the badasses, his insecurities multiply. Trevor must decide if Jasperโs love is real or merely a product of the mate bond. Reaching back to his warrior roots, Jasper will stop at nothing to protect his mate as well as his Clan. Review: Sweet love story - As Ms. Gibson mentioned, I donโt normally chose to read gay romance. Iโm not offended, but I didnโt think I would enjoy the spicy scenes as much. But I was invested in Jasper and Trevorโs story enough to give it a try. I am so glad I did. Their love story was every bit as engaging, their emotions and passion as deep and committed as any of the previous couples. Ms. Gibson did a wonderful job of of expressing true love from a slightly different perspective and I found the intimacy between Jasper and Trevor to be very enjoyable. I have loved every book of this series including this one, I canโt wait to read the rest. Highly recommend! Review: Ms. Gibson, your strategy was successful ! - I don't have any interest in man and man sex, but I believe in love. The love between these two is awesome! The interactions between the characters from previous stories is what has me binge reading this series. On to Sixx!!โบ

Jasper (The Stone Society Book 6)
What can I say about Jasper other than I really loved this book. Faith Gibson I think your books just keep getting better and better. Jasper is the 6th book in the Stone Society Series. I think the Stone Society series is a MUST read. I never thought about Gargoyles as being such sexy, cute and hunky Alphaโs but they are! The reading order is: Rafael, Gregor, Dante, Frey, Nikolas and now Jasper. There is a little WARNING on Jasper that Faith includes: Warning: This book contains a relationship between a very male Gargoyle and a very male human. So if this isnโt your thing you might want to bypass this book. But, you will be missing an integral part of this series. But, donโt miss out on the other books in this series. I never thought I would love a book that had a Gargoyle as the romance lead. I mean Vampires, Wolves, and whatever else have been leads in romance books why not Gargoyles! I am in love with Gargoyles, this series and the author! As in all my reviews I donโt like rewriting the Synopsis. I feel the authors have written the best one. We have caught glimpses of Jasper Jenkins in some of the other Stone Society Series books but, this is his & Trevor McKenzie's story. And, what a story it is! I loved the beginning, middle & the ending of this book. It is going to be so hard waiting until the next book comes out in this series. Thank you for no cliffhanger and for a book that lets you know this series will continue. And, no I canโt tell you about the ending you will need to read that for yourself. I was gifted a copy of Jasper for an honest review but, I have my copy of Jasper on Pre-Order now. As always I have bought a copy of the books after they have been published. That is how much I love this series. I give Jasper 5+ stars.

I am not gay, but I enjoyed the book
I was hesitant about reading the book, but I have read and like mfm books along with the fact, i really like the character Jasper. A lot occurred in this book, plot wise and that is the main reason I wanted to read the book. I did not want to miss anything in regards to the story unfolding in this series. Yes, there are intimate sex scenes in this book. In all honesty, I feel like they (Jasper and Trevor) were like any other couple. When they were together romantically, it was very easy to forget it was a gay couple. They were just like any other couple being intimate. The only time I was like eww, was when the author described rimming. But this occurs with heterosexual couples too, it is just my dislike of that sexual activity. Overall, I felt this book was instrumental to the series because it leads to a major decision by Rafael. ************************SPOILER PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE GOING TO READ THE BOOK************** ***THIS IS ONLY FOR THE READERS WHO WILL NOT READ THIS BOOK DUE TO IT BEING A BOOK ABOUT A GAY COUPLE ************* This is a complete recap about what happened in the book, so that you are prepared for the next book in the series. Before I start, I hope you would read the book and skip over the live scenes, however, if you still do not want to read it, please continue reading. As you know Trevor and Jasper are mates and Trevor is insecure with himself. In the past, Jasper was born and raised in Ireland. His real name is Phelam Odonnel. He was caught as a young lad being lustful toward the son of the king. The king demanded him to be executed. However, the father did not want to lose the labor and loss of income his son would have provided. So he sold him into slavery. Luckily a good clan raised him. The new clan was killed by the English so Jasper became a lonely nomad. While in Greece, while being the apprentice out a fisherman, Theron approached Jasper. He enticed with becoming a clan member which would give him family and then he started a relationship with Jasper. Jasper was a virgin in all ways when it came to relationships. He did not know what to expect nor knew what was normal. Theron started out as just being dominant and aggressive. Jasper did not break up with him, think of a domestic violence situation. Theron got worst and continued with his mental and physical abuse to the point where he tied him up brutally causing severe pain, in which Jasper suffered for days. When he finally escaped from the situation Jasper changed his name from Phelam to Jasper and moved to the states. Of course, Theron missed Jasper because he fought him while tied and being a gargoyle he could tolerate a lot of abuse. He hated and despised the fact that Jasper was having relations with a human. So, he killed several people and targeted Trevor in the hopes of drawing Jasper out. He did trick Jasper and injectex him with a poison and then leaving him tyed up in the pain induced position from the past. The poison paralyzed him and locked his shifter side up. Luckily, Lilly from New Orleans is a witch and was able to heal him. Afterwards, Jasper and Trevor mated and Trevor started to gain self confidence. Theron went back home in the interim and left his sister and Sergi behind to tie up and loose ends. Uri captured both. Isabelle hit Kassirto (I think that is the name and spelling - it is Theron's sister) for the kidnapping and then Dominic Lilly's mate, tied her up like thereon did, but without the pain. Then they sent the pictures to Theron. Theron returned to fight Jasper. Rafael told Jasper it was okay to kill Theron knowing it would officially start a clan war. Jasper did kill Theron. They sent Sergi home with the picture of Kallisto and the dead body of Theron, informing the king that they would return his daughter if he called a truce to the war. Otherwise, his daughter will remain a prisoner. Casper returns to his roots for closure. He found out that his father had past away and he had a 6 month old sister. His mother wanted to die because her mate was dead. She pleaded with Jasper to take her daughter to raise, so that she could pass on. So, Jasper and Trevor took her home to be raised as their daughter. Of course, there was more to the story, but these were the most important parts. Now at least you will be caught up for the next book. However, I really hope you would still read the book. Even though, I provided most of the details, nothing compares to what the author wrote and the feelings she generated while reading.

Excellent addition to the series!
I have enjoyed all the previous Stone Society books, and this latest book lived up to the last five. As with the others, i expected it to move the overall arc of the story along with a well-written, entertaining and interesting plot, and I was certainly not disappointed! However, what I did not expect, and found absolutely delightful, was how quickly I fell in love with Jasper and Trevor, both individually, and as a couple. Jasper was the epitome of the alpha hero we all love, and yet never appeared the least bit reluctant to be vulnerable to his mate, nor was he afraid for the world to see how much he cared for him. The love scenes were hot, but also tender, and written very tastefully. From almost page one I found myself rooting for these two men to have their HEA. Thank you Faith Gibson for another great read!

1 Bad Guy Down!
As I don't read a lot of m/m books this was done very well. Jasper is a detective for New Atlanta & has met his mate in Trevor who is the assistant to Dante, the M.E. but, his courtship of Trevor has been messed up with people from his past. Trevor is like a very shy geek with low self-esteem & doesn't believe at 1st that Jasper really likes him & doesn't really find out about the gargoyles until the end of the last book (book 5). Trevor's also unsure if he even wants to mate with Jasper once he does find out about the Clan. This book gives the reader a lot of background information on what Jasper's life has been like & how he came to know Theron, Alistair's son (Alistair is the relative that's been causing all the mate trouble & he was in Dante's book). Eventually, both Jasper & Trevor become close but then Theron get between them again by not only hurting Trevor's brother Travis but poisoning Jasper as well. This was a very good book & an HEA story that you will have to read in order to find out what happens in this book because I'm not going to tell you what happens next. Now, onto the next book in this series.

Jasper & Trevor... Sigh... Love is love
Jasper Jenkins is one of the younger Gargoyle in the Stone Society, but he is a Goyle with a secret past. A past that comes back to not only haunt but terrorize him and his mate. Being the only openly gay member of the New Atlanta clan Jasper is beyond thrilled when he discovers the fates have chosen him a mate. Unfortunately for him, his mate is a human and not yet open about his own sexuality nor is he aware of the existence of the Gargoyle. Trevor McKenzie is the assistant Medical Examiner and works along side full-blood Gargoyle and member of the Stone Society, Dante Di Pietro in the morgue. He considers himself a loner and his only friends to be his brother Travis and the bodies that lay on his slab. That is until he meets the โbadassโ police detective Jasper Jenkins. The two form a friendship and while Trevor feels the pull to Jasper he has no idea that is the pull of the mate bond. As the story unfolds, Trevor learns the truth of the Gargoyle and the โleague of badasesโ (otherwise known as the Stone Society) and is thrust into their world when the demons from Jasperโs past come back with a vengeance. I say it with every new edition of the Stone Society Series, and I am thrilled to say it again, Jasper is my new favorite story in the series (but Frey is till my favorite Goyle). Jasperโs story has been building throughout the series and I have been (rather impatiently) waiting to learn more about this sexy ginger Goyle. Faith Gibsonโs storytelling and imagination are on point in this book. She reaches back into the past some 400+ years in Ireland and brings us back into the future of New Atlanta and she does it beautifully. As she relates the details of Jasperโs life in the old world, I imagined myself a spectator on the sidelines in awe of the scene before me. That being said, Jasper is more than just a kick@ss action packed, paranormal read, itโs also a sexy love story. Some readers may be hesitant to read a M/M romance, but I assure you, the respect, devotion and love between Jasper and Trevor transcends labels and is on par with any of todayโs more โtraditionalโ M/F love stories. While Jasper is a part of the Stone Society Series, there is enough backstory within this book to read as a standalone if you havenโt read the first five yet. Although I would ask, what you are waiting for? I urge anyone with a passion for well written stories to pick up your copy of Jasper today, you will not be disappointed. As I read the last words of Jasper, I began to itch for the next installment of the Stone Society and I know that author Faith Gibson will once again take me on a journey full of excitement and adventure. I most definitely give Jasper 5 stars, would love to give it so many more. **I was gifted a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed this book so much I have my eCopy on preorder!

Great romance
Ok, I am a lover of romance and HEA, regardless of the sex, race, color, etc of the two or more individuals involved. I started this series and have loved every book so far. I normally do not read MM books but the ones I have have been great and this one is no exception. I recommend this series for those who enjoy romance with twists and turns as well as some chaos. Every character I have a deep love for and wish I was part of their family. Thank you for the feels, the entertainment, and the interesting plots. ๐

Fantastic Read!
*I received this ARC from the author in exchange for a honest review* JASPER(The Stone Society #6) by Faith Gibson Jasper Jenkins never really felt like he belonged, he was a loner. Until he moved to New Atlanta and joined the Stone Society, giving him a clan, a family of his own. But when his past rears its ugly head, in the form of an evil gargoyle, comes back to terrorize and torment him and those around him. And on top of everything going on in his life at the moment, the quirky medical examiner's assistant turns out to be his mate. Jasper's life just got hundred percent better but also hundred percent more complicated. Trevor McKenzie knows all about heartache and loneliness. When he found out he was cloned, it destroyed his confidence making him feel less of a person. He has no life, he spends his time between work and visiting his brother. But that soon changes when he finds out about gargoyles, mates and the crazy psycho that's after him. When he finds out that he is mate to the most attractive gargoyle who also happens to be his best friend, his shocked and his insecurities grow because of who he is and the way he looks. Will Trevor trust and believe in the love been offered to him, or will he think it's just not worth it because of the danger and sorrow it's brought to him already. Jasper will stop at nothing to keep his mate safe. So he enlists the help of his clan to stop the maniac from trying to completely destroy their lives. Will he be able to convince his mate that love is worth taking a chance for. This is Jasper and Trevor's story and I was really looking forward to reading their book. I had high hopes and I can say without a doubt that it was everything I expected and so much more. This author has a way with words that are quiet captivating. I love the whole family dynamics between the clan members, their mates and their friends. Making you wish you were included in their family. The storyline was entertaining and kept my interest throughout the pages, and the characters were amazing. Poor Jasper and Trevor, your heart just went out to them on numerous occasions, they just had such difficult times. I loved catching up with the rest of the guys from previous books and the few new ones we met in this story. This was such an enjoyable read. I highly recommend it!

Great read
Oh my, I would give 6 stars if I could. After Dante wasn't my cup of tea, Jasper took off like a rocket. The first 25 pages were a little bit boring as they established the time frame and involved repetition of things that already happened in the previous books, but I guess that's the way it has to be with all characters more or less falling in love at the same time and each book focusing on one couple. Anyway, AFTER those first 25 pages the story really took off. I find the characters the opposite of superficial. Each of them has a unique way and in Jasper's case a heart. breaking past. It doesn't hurt that I'm a huge M/M fan. Trevor, admittedly, was a little pain in my behind with his constant doubts. At some points I wanted to throttle him. But all in all ... BIG HAPPY SMILE.

The Stone Clan: Jasper
Beautifully told, I loved how Jasper's story was told. The first 200 years of Jasper's life was filled with hardship, turmoil and loneliness. Betrayed by his father, he kept his sexuality preference to himself. Struggling in an age where things like this was never accepted, he accepted his fate. Along with a new move he joins the Stone clan, eventually leading him to his mate Trevor. Both have their own struggles, insecurities and a villain from Jasper's past to add to the mix. With bodies stacking up around them, fate and a bond to seal, it's not an easy journey for either. I loved the way Jasper's story was told and twists along the way. It kept me going wanting to know more. The love shared between both was heart warming and hot. It was great to see other characters in here too ร nd look forward to reading Uri's story. I enjoy how this book also runs concurrently with other books in the series. It can be read on its own but great to read the other books too, so you can keep up with the overall plot. Well worth the read.

Not my taste
And as I didn't like the first book of this series, that wasn't a surprise. But I really like that it is a series with m/m couples and m/f couples (well there isn't a f/f couple but nobody is perfect). I always am annoyed that a large group (here the gargoyles in other series whole packs or whatever) is completely hetero or completely homo. Therefore, I like this mix in this series. That being said, I don't like the story, the MCs are superficial (well, in short: my review from book 1 fits for this one, too) and kind of anoying. But fans of this series might like it ...

Fantastic
In Trevor's eyes Jasper is a very attractive badass and why Jasper would want to be with him, Trevor doesn't understand. He see's himself as plain, geeky and a bit weird. In Jasper's eyes Trevor is everything he could want in a mate, handsome, funny and intelligent but convincing Trevor to become his, is going to be one of the greatest challenges of his long life. Throw into the mix Jasper's past, which comes back to haunt him in the worse way possible and the Gargoyle fears he will never get his man. I loved this book and thoroughly recommend it. In my opinion to get the best out of the story you need to read the first five wonderful books in this series first but it is well worth it. This is one of my favourite series of books.
