4.2CF Concrete Mixer

Arrived promptly and customer service emailed to offer help if needed. This is typical Chinesium product. But then so are all the alternatives from the big box stores, Northern Tool and Harbor Freight. This one comes with Amazon delivery and guarantee and seems to me a better bargain than the alternatives. The instructions are primitive. But this is not difficult to assemble. Tolerances were about a sixteenth. Crude but perfectly serviceable unless you want to pay four times as much for German engineering!Took me just over an hour. I used Locktight even though this comes with nylon- steel lock nuts. The steel is about as soft as can be. So be careful tightening them. I managed to sheer off one small bolt connecting the two halves of the drum. -- This mixer was purchased for and converted to a compost trommel. So I won't be using it for mortar or concrete. But it seems sturdy enough. Certainly works well for my purpose!

I got this item a day later than scheduled and the delivery man just dropped it off. I guess he felt bad because the mixer had to be repacked due to freight damage. All parts were there except missing one wheel, best thing because I put better wheels on it. I give it 5 stars because it is cheap and it does the job well. Easy to move and put on blocks, easy to clean. Motor just keeps going. Use it for one bag (80#) usually, sometimes 1-1/2 bags. Have poured over 50 bags so far without any issues.

We have been using it for a couple days now will we put in a flagstone patio. It has been a lifesaver. Took us a couple tries to figure out the best way to use it but that was more us than the product. Super easy to clean up. Great product and significantly cheaper than smaller not as heavy duty models you find in Lowes and Home Depot. Well worth the price for us!

Like the capacity of it. Working how I was expected

Sadly I must leave a sour review. The quality of the product itself is more or less as expected at this price point. Unfortunately I have been unable to test it’s effectiveness because it was severely damaged during shipping. Sadly the seller has been extremely difficult to work with offering only a $30 refund to keep a non-functional unit. Communication has been extremely difficult as they seem to operate in a very different time zone. The most I can expect is a one sentence email 24 to 36 hours after I send them something. If the seller does correct their action I will happily provide updates but, one week into this I have no resolution and no refund. PS the damage was mostly repairable bent/warped parts...) except for the power unit. The motor mount broke thus allowing the motor to freely pulverize everything inside that box.

This mixer is about what I expected and has performed well. My only grip is that it came with just one wheel. I contacted the sell as instructed and they assured me that they would send a wheel as soon as they were available... 6 to 8 weeks. Well it has been four months ...no wheel. I have been using it with a wooden wheel I made for it and it works fine. My belief is that it was intentionally shorted one wheel becuase they were out and that is why they anticipated that it would take a couple months for them to send me one. I don't think they ever intended to send a wheel. Lousy company ... but cheap.

I put this mixer together then proceeded to mix 50 bags of quikcrete with no issues. Takes a few loads to get the hang of it. Mixes very fast. Just a minute or to and it’s ready. I like the foot control for rotating the drum. This frees up Both Hands to rotate the drum and hold the wheel barrow in place. So far very satisfied.

It is a Concrete mixer! It does what it is supposed to do. I guess today that is great, sometimes?
