10 Rare Kajari Melon Seeds - Bright Striped Melon, Compact Vines - 60-70 Days Till Ripe - Grows in Shade

Fun new fruit, only 30% sprouted but currently I have 3 plants with healthy fruit. Just waiting for ripening

Sadly not a single seed germinated. I had high hopes, but really didn’t have a prayer. Half of the seeds were broken when they arrived. Didn’t really matter much as the intact ones failed to even show signs of growth. Do not buy these seeds. I would highly recommend you consider buying from this company at all. Anyone who cares this little about their product does not deserve your business.

Ignore the flavor rating for now. I'm just reporting on the germination. I bought 10 seeds. There was one extra in the package but it didn't look viable since it was the inside of the seed. I was expecting poor germination rate because they are melons and 60% is a number i see online as expected. I planted all 10 in a rather pessimistic manner in that i put 3 seeds per pot expecting maybe one plant per pot. Sealed them up to retain moisture and now i've checked 4 days later and 8 of the 10 seeds have germinated. I do think thats all the seller is responsible for hence 5 stars. I'll update for the flavor should the plants survive me.

10 of 13 seeds germinated. Before sowing, I soaked them for a few hours. Some seeds were pretty small and I was worried they might not germinate, but most did. Total time from planting to first germination was 5 days. It took another 4 for all to germinate. Edit: almost 5 months in and the first plant has finally started to flower. No fruit yet. Plants remain quite small despite being well fertilized, watered and in an area where they receive sun and shade throughout the day. 2nd edit: plants germinated, but produced few vines or flowers. Most flowers were male and even after removing the male flowers, it was difficult to get a female flower, despite excellent conditions. I suspect the seeds were actually GMO and designed not to fruit, but cant prove it. I managed 1 fruit from the plants and it was under ripe by the end of the season. Disappointing.

Shipping was fast Got all 10 seeds as promised, all looked good maybe 1 was ehh 7 sprouted fast! Healthy and strong first take I had to separate them out of the bowl they started in and lost 1 transplanting :/ Still have 6 left, all looking good and about 12" tall /long Will update again later to see how they ended up, 4 stars for now 5 if they produce the rainbow colored melons I see in the advertisement haha and hopefully how they taste too 👍

Everything germinated, so whatever happens from here on out is my fault. I am a very short growing season so if I get any fruit, I'll be really happy, but it certainly won't be because there's anything wrong with the seeds. These are great. I don't think I've had 100% germination on any seeds in the past.

The seeds don't look ready. The package was wet inside.

Received 10 hollow wrinkled melon seed husks. One seed looks like it MIGHT have about 20% of a seed embryo, the rest are literally hollow shells. 10 dollars for what equals trash honestly, either zero quality control or its a scam take your pick.
