Works well, very handy.
Nice little timer that has a magnet that attaches to the stove hood. Accurate and priced right. Use it every day.

Simple and loud
Good and simple timer. Big digits and loud beep that my mom can hear with no issues. Strong magnet. The hinge is a little flimsy so it does not hang straight while on the fridge but that’s no problem with us. Could be just our item and the rest have a stronger hinge. No real complaints here. Would recommend to those with an elderly sibling that needs a kitchen timer.

Does What It Should.
A lot of kitchen timers have 1,000 functions that you don't need and can't access when you fingers are covered in olive oil. Too fancy to be useful. PRO: This little gizmo does what it needs to do - keeps time. Simple to use, three large buttons and clear display. No problems. Small enough to put just about anyplace in the kitchen, even a crowded shelf. For the price, an excellent deal. CON: Volume could be louder or have an adjustment. But it's good enough if you're not cooking to loud punk rock.

Works great. Not as loud as I had hoped.
My old timer works just like this one does, so I had no problem using it right out of the box. This Lavatools kt1 timer is sturdier and the stand works better than my old timer. I'm actually pretty happy with it. However, the reason I got a new timer is that the old one could be right in front of me, and I wouldn't hear it go off. I was looking for something louder. (I am pretty hard of hearing.) The new timer is definitely louder. But still not really loud enough. So ... if your hearing is good, this timer is good. And it's certainly easy to use.
