Erin: Clover Springs Mail Order Brides Book 9

I love the small-town mentality and how they all had to pull together to help each other. There is always a bad guy and there were actually 3 in this story.Read along as an exciting plot unwind. Great story. Loved it!

Everyone has secrets from the past. In Clover Springs is known as Dr. Erin Brennan. What's her secret? Some people in the town at first didn't see the need for a female doctor. With in a few days she saved the young mill owners life, after having a horrible accident. She stopped off here to deliver a gift to Fr. Molloy who married her Ma & Pa in NY. She had a gift for him. She gets involved in many ways trying make the town better. She gets to know Mick Quinn who she likes very much. How far will this romance go? There are so many great characters in this book. Murder, danger and much more. If you liked this type of book it is a must read. I loved reading it, enjoy. Rachael Wesson is a talented writer.

This is the ninth book I've read in the Clover Springs series. Sometimes, I enjoy having something to read that isn't deep, dark or heart-wrenching. All of these books are quick, easy reads. They are interesting enough to keep me turning the pages and always have a happy ending. My husband has been going through some medical issues and these are great to read while sitting in hospital and doctor's office waiting rooms. Just nice, pleasant stories that take my mind off my worries. My only complaint is the poor editing. Every book so far has contained numerous mistakes such as misspelled words, poor grammar, sentence fragments, and punctuation errors. It's distracting and annoying but overall, I recommend this series if you want a light, easy read.

Rachel Wesson hit the nail on the head with this book. She touched areas so many won’t do. People then, and now, don’t approve of “soiled doves”; but, Rachel Wesson forces us to see there are often reasons these young ladies did, or do, what they did. In this book we see too many girls and women forced into a situation they don’t want to be in (although there is no sexual content). Was there a legal way to put a stop to it? How were the women treated by the men, and women in some cases, that “owned” them? As for Erin, my heart went out to her. What happened to her that caused her to travel to Clover Springs? Was she welcomed and was she, as a woman in those days, allowed to practice medicine; and, if so, was she really a doctor? As for Mick, what was his story? What happened to his family and why was he so willing to help women and children? This story not only kept me guessing as to what would happen next or to Erin; it also made me think about another side to life, the darker side. Why people do what they do is often a question we don’t ask and this author made me think about it. Even though this book dealt with “soiled doves”, immigrants, or possible negative situations; it wasn’t all dark. I loved the interaction between Wilma and Father Malloy along with so many of our other Clover Springs favorites. I highly recommend this book, as well as the entire series, as a MUST read.

What can I say another great story! This book took less than two days to read. I’ve enjoyed it so much! Onto my next story in the Mail Order Bride series. Diane L.

The love story of Erin and Mick. After being expel from medical school Erin head west. Her mother ask her to take a package to Father Molly in Cover Springs. When she get there she is mistaken for a mail order bride but an accident at the mill prove she a doctor. She is ask to stay in Clover Springs. Live is great but will the town learn the true? Great story.

Another sweet afternoon read. All of them tend to end basically the same way. This one has some good qualities when the soiled doves get their lives back.Oil

I love this series and continuing to see how each of the characters are going in each book, my favorite kind of storyline

A feisty woman who won't let anyone stop her from doing what's right, and yet the troubles from her past almost rob her of a happy and fulfilling future. A man with his own nightmares won't take no for an answer and finally they come together having changed the town they live in for the better.

Erin is delivering a package to Father Molloy in Clover Springs, and on arrival there is an accident and she goes into Doctor mode
