I finally figured out that you have to peel them off like you're peeling an apple, in a spiral fashion. Otherwise, the plastic breaks off in small pieces requiring a great deal of cursing. The clubs themselves are very fine with the driver having 10 degrees of loft. The grips are very good. I really like these clubs! Addendum: Yesterday I played a round of golf with my son using these clubs. I love them. They really helped my ball striking. Addendum: I have been using these clubs for months now. I replaced the driver with a Callaway driver to try to correct my slice and increase my distance but may return to using this driver since I hit it more consistently.
