Leupold Mark 4 Scope Rings

This item was advertised with scope does not fit had to order new rings that fit Amazon was refusing to honor return supervisor I spoke to was completely unprofessional and a complete piece of trash. Still don't have a problem resolved.

Used these rings to mount a leupold Mark 5 to a Ruger Precision Rifle. Perfect fit, even with the sunshade and flip cover installed. Did not need to adjust the scope. Was on target at 100 yds, made minor adjustments to zero at 200 yds. Holds scope securely with no slippage. Just torque to specifications that are included with rings and you will be fine. A perfect fit and finish.

These scope rings are very high quality and sturdy. I mounted a  Leupold VX-1 3-9x40 Waterproof Riflescope, Matte Black, Duplex Reticle  to a Ruger American All weather model and it worked perfectly. These rings are the medium height steel rings. Each ring weighs 113 grams. I uploaded a picture of both rings being weighed separately to show how the machining is obviously consistent. I made the mistake of caving to recommendations for Vortex rings. 2 sets of Vortex rings, of their paired rings, first had cross threaded screws, and 2 set were missing screws. I returned and went to the Mark 4's, where I should have gone in the first place. I've never been disappointed by Leupold products. These are the rings that all others are judged against.

Junk! I don’t recommend these scope rings. They don’t line up to mount my scope and Leupold Customer service is a joke. My Gunsmith and I were flabbergasted when the service rep told us to try mounting the scope even if the rings didn’t line up. Sure! This was my second set of Leupold Mk4 rings and both sets were junk.

OK. From reading reviews, there seems to be a confusion whether these are aluminum or steel. I received the steel ones and I love them. They are heavy and well constructed. They are easy to install and hold zero perfectly. I would not recommend for a hunting rifle because of the weight. But to go to the range and shoot prone or from the bench, they are perfect. Oh yeah, they totally look totally tacticool if you are with the tacticool crowd. They seem a little pricey but the value is here. So. I don't mind.

Took the 308 DPMS rifle with the scope mounts attached to a Leopold scope to the range for zeroing, got about halfway through a box of 20 rounds and was pretty satisfied with where my zero was going when all of a sudden it started going wrong. After another 20 rounds I realized the scope had become loose in the scope mounts, which is not supposed to happen! Therefore I'm not very happy with these scope mounts and am currently looking for an alternative.

These rings are the real deal. solid as a church, and tougher than a hagdown. you know it by the weight of the buggers. lol. good stuff leupold. good stuff.
