Great devices
I own a VOIP company and these are the only cordless phones we install: our customers love them and we have zero issues with them. Super easy to setup and use

Some recurring issues
We use these phones in 3 different businesses and we have the same issue occurring. The phone « external speaker » will fail at one point, so the phones wont ring anymore and you can not use the speaker obviously. This happened at least 3 times so far out of maybe 15 units.

drawbacks
Easy to config. Reasonable range. Ergo is fine. Only accepts use of one SIP server in all "profiles" as they call it. Extensions in my book. Yet each "profile" allows for input of individual or different servers. Firmware fix maybe, hopefully, please? Won't stay on 24hr time format or MM/DD/YYYY, keeps reverting to factory 12hr-DD/MM/YYYY with every save. Annoying but correctable. All seems like firmware stuff to me. I could add some stars if they'd fix it all.

Dont trust this company that sold the Grandstream on Amazon
Recieved a used or rejected product from this Amazon company. One phone was damaged and would not function correctly. It had already been used and put back into its packaging. The other Grandstream phone had a poor display and had time on.

Call Quality Sub Par
I bought this to replace a Panasonic KX-TG4771 landline wireless from 10 years ago hooked up to a Cisco ATA. The Panasonic gets far better sound quality than this even with the same VOIP provider (Anveo). High frequency sounds and ear comfort are missing. The handset is not ergonomic and not comfortable to use for extended times. I do not recommend this phone for the above reasons.

How did this design pass design review?
The handset works fine with Ring Central and should work with most US VOIP providers (when used with the DP752 base station). Given a very reasonably functionality and an attractive design, I truly wanted to like it. Unfortunately, it looks like their design team was made up of fresh interns with no clue of real office needs. Headphone jack is at the bottom of the phone where it connects to provided battery charger. That is pretty dumb. How did such a lame design was even approved for the manufacturing? As a basic phone handset, it works fine. If you are coming from a typical desktop speaker phone which typically has a bigger and better speaker for conference calls, the speaker volume on this handset is a several steps down. It is reasonable for a single user, but not very loud like a full desktop unit. With a few changes, it could have been a 5* set, but unfortunately, the design team let the company down. I would rate it as an average (3*). It will do the job, but won't wow you!

Comprata la stazione DP752 e due cordless DP722: installato con estrema facilità (nonostante la ricchezza di parametri di configurazione e flessibilità, il sistema, a differenza di altri é anche estremamente semplice da configurare). Il supporto clienti Grandstream é eccellente, estremamente professionale e disponibile al punto di valutare aggiornamenti per l’implementazione di richieste se possono essere di utilità generale per la clientela. Grandstream é TOP. Bought the DP752 station and two DP722 cordless: installed with extreme ease (despite the richness of configuration parameters and flexibility, the system, unlike others, is also extremely simple to be configured). Grandstream customer support is excellent, extremely professional and available to evaluate updates for the implementation of requests if those can be of general value to all customers. Grandstream is TOP.

Been looking for a portable sip phone for a while. Having tried 3 different others I wasn’t expecting much. How wrong could I have been. Superb handset super clear and more important where others failed this excelled with volume being really loud for me. Better yet i can plug in my iPhone headphones for headset if I need too. Con: headset connector on bottom so you can’t put on charge if on a call and running low and have headset in at same time. Def buying a 2nd one for the bedroom.
