Gripple Torq Tool - Wire Tensioning Tool for Cable Wire Fencing and Trellis Tightening

Works great! It honestly feels and looks a little cheap. I was worried that it being some sort of plastic composite, that it wouldn’t be able to hold up. I’ve used it on at least 6 H posts with no problems so far.

Works great for light to medium duty tools. Made of plastic but haven't had any problems.

Very easy to use. Found out about Gripple on YouTube and this will be my new go-to for bracing on fences

Out of the box we put it right to work. Nice system

The product worked as advertised. There is a slight learning curve, took about 5min. I would definitely recommend this product for someone with a medium amount of fencing to do. It can do more and I see there is a repair kit for the biting cam which can wear over time. But if you have a lot of fencing to do, go ahead and buy the contractor grade device.

The price tag and the associated components scared me, but I knew I needed something to tension a steel cable for string lights int he backyard. But holy smokes! This thing is incredibly easy to use, and I think I'm going to use it for damn near everything. Why put up a costly chickenwire fence, when you can get some cables established with this thing! It's incredibly sturdy, and will be a tool that I own for a really long time. Great purchase.

I’m really pleased with this tool, you can easily tighten high tension wire.

Love this tool! Used for approx four rows of 100-120ft 14 gauge wires on my grape trellis system (1 bottom wire at 28" and two more at 48" high to support vertical growth in each row) Took me a couple tries to get the hang of easily positioning the tool to insert the gripple wire joiner and the wire itself but it got easier when I realized if pull the handles apart, it automatically opens the mouth that holds the wire in this tool. Stretches the wire each pass about 3-5". Great tool.

Very easy to use and does what it's supposed to do. Really easy way to tension wire compared with the available alternatives.

This is the best !!!!! I tightened up 4 strands of 300 foot wire in 15 minutes. Makes very easy work of any fence repair, as you just cut your wire, feed both ends back into a Gripple connector, and let the tool do the rest ! It has a tension gage built into the handle...easy peasy. If you have strait wire fencing, you need this. But you must have the connectors. Check out the other Gripple products as well !!!! AWSOME
