Filtrete Air Cleaning Filter, 9 In. x 15 In., For Use with Ultra Quiet Air Purifier model FAPO2

I installed this Filtrete FAPF 02 filter in a Filtrete FAP 02 air filtration unit which is in my basement. It took a few days for the filtration unit to work but after a week there was a noticeable difference in the air quality. I have been running the filtration unit with the new filter for a month now and the basement smell is virtually gone. This filter works surprisingly well and is definitely worth the price. Some of the reviewers said that the filter that they ordered did not fit. There are lots of air filtration units out there and they all take different filters. Be very careful when ordering your filter so that you get the right one. Know the name and model number of your filtration unit and if possible know the number printed on the filter itself. Also, carefully compare the physical dimensions of the filter with the product description.

This is the only filter to fit the filtrete air cleaner! The Filtrete air cleaner is the best air cleaner that I have found. It was a little high priced, they are hard to find!

I have owned several dozen room-size air cleaners. Some of the brand names don’t even exist any longer, which of course means that the special filters they used are no longer being sold, which leaves me with an expensive device that is totally useless without replacement filters. One of the better decisions I ever made was to buy the 3M Filtrete FAP02 which at the time I bought it was under a hundred bucks. Because it’s 3M now many years later I am able to still buy replacement filters with one simple click. Having owned so many air cleaners there is one truth that is very clear … none of them are anything more than a plastic case with an electric fan inside that pulls air through some sort of replaceable filter. Regardless of brand there seriously should be a law against how much some of them cost – from the most basic to the fanciest because when it comes down to it they all do almost exactly the same thing … pull air through a filter. The number one thing that influences how much airborne particulates the unit captures is how big the filter is. The FAP02 has a larger-than-average filter and it uses the Filtrete system which so many experts say is one of the best filters sold today. It’s what I use in my own home’s HVAC system. Despite any (and all) advertising claims and specs and hype here is the only way to know how good your air cleaner is … look at the filter after a few months use. Nothing else can possibly tell you how effective that plastic box with the electric fan is at cleaning your air than how dirty the filter is. And I’m here to tell you that of all the air cleaners I’ve owned not one of them gets as dirty as the FAP02. Look at the pics I took of my old filter and this one I just bought. This is stuff that I would have been breathing! These replacement filters are as good as it gets, the only unfortunate thing is that 3M no longer sells the actual appliance.

It's decent for everyday use. The design is nice but the execution could be improved. Price is reasonable for what you get. No regrets so far.

The filter does a good job. The only problem i have with it is the price. Its way overpriced,and the only reason i buy it is because its the only one the fits my air purifier. Maybe its time to buy some other air purifier that uses less expensive filters.

I thought these filters were expensive when I was spending $12 each including prime shipping. The last time I was able to order them was in December 2021. Now they are no longer on my subscription, and the alternative is $28 each. These are great and they are better than the aftermarket ones, but they are not worth $30. I guess I’ll have to buy some thing off of eBay and aftermarket.

Fits the machine. Works like it should. The Only drawback is that the filtration chambers are not as tight (close together) as a previous one (from a different source at a higher price). This product has a lower grade of filtration (1) upon visual inspection. So, you get what you pay for.

Good air filters. They suggest changing them every 3 months which I find necessary over the wood fire season but last longer in the summer. They are, in my opinion, very expensive.

It's an air filter. If it works and fits, I'm happy. It works, and fits. Henceforth, I'm happy...

Price,packaging and all round value makes it the best around.
