Does what it says
Had recurring algae problems for past several years. Tried a few different products, algeacides and clarifiers with limited success. Last year I bought this stuff on a whim and no mor problems. It's great to roll up the cover and instead of algae i see an inviting shimmering pool that i don't need to spend time shocking, cleaning filters etc .

Keeps my pool free of algae without increasing CYA
It works in the hot days of summer when my pool water will be consistently above 80 F. I used to use a different product that I found has a lot of chlorine locker (cyanuric acid) that was pushing my CYA very high when combined with chlorine tabs. This one is bromide based thus it does not add to the cyanuric acid thus keeping me form having to add fresh water (dilution) to the polo.

Worked quickly. I didn’t have issues with algae until the end of last summer. This stuff helped clear up the water.

This product did not clean the black surface algae in my pool. It was a waste of money.
