MCSA Windows Server 2012 R2 Installation and Configuration Study Guide: Exam 70-410

The book was more detailed than some I read but I found some of the content to be lacking. It was more of a gloss over and I don't feel as prepared as I would hope. -1 star

Good overall study guide. I am still going through it but it gives you the nitty gritty info to make you a good technical admin.

If a DVD of the book was included I would have given it 5 stars

I got this wonderful book yesterday. I tell you guys, I'm enjoying the moment I start reading it. The book has all tool you need to succeed and get your certification. Not only what is in the book, but also you can go online and take advantage of what comes with the book like flash cards, helpful video and more. I highly recommend this book.

Like most Sybex books, this one covers just the right amount - I don;t get giddy with the thought of a 1000-page book on a MS Cert exam. This covers 85% of the material, pick up the rest during your labs and general troubleshooting.Will recommend and buy from the series again, no doubt!

This book has some helpful general knowledge, but it is lacking in thorough coverage of exam objectives and the practice exercises are not extensive at all. There are also some references to various items that have been deprecated, such as site-local ipv6 address information. This book alone would definitely not help someone pass exam 70-410.
